Overall layout. It seems large, most animals seem have a lot of room. Negative is one polar bear died last week. The remaining polar bear seems sick. Make sure to bring warm clothes!!

But a membership and see the animals at different times of day and during different seasons. Animals have moods. I have mixed feelings about zoos but the anteater and giraffes always seem chilled out

The giraffes and their habitat is breathtaking to look at. I loved the hippo, he put on a good show for the crowd. Chill out and relax at the Leaping Lemur Cafe

Don’t wait in line. Get your ticket online then you can just walk in and they scan your phone. Animals are healthy and it’s a big Zoo. Worth $20.00 for none residents.

Huge zoo right next to the California coast. All the exhibits are excellent. The new wolf enclosure was just okay. Very clean, well organized, and overall a top zoo in the country

It's a weird little place. A lot of the buildings are in need of serious repairs. It's kinda fun though, lots of great animals to see.

It's a great zoo! Knowledgeable zookeepers who will gladly answer questions. Give the Kune Kune Pig in the Children's Section some scritches with a brush!

The shack by the rare breed sheep is the perfect place to nurse or change your baby. It blocks the wind, is private, and is much warmer inside.

The primates get a good plot of land here. Stop in at the cafe for a decent food selection for a zoo cafe. Try the turkey sandwich.
