Everything about this place screams authentic. Make sure to get the hot sandwiches with extras. Latkes are a must and the smoked beef is that little bit of incredible. Do not walk past this place.

Plan on a long table wait but well worth it; breakfast or lunch is ideal! Staff has awesome personality and the owner is present ready to stop by for a chat. Do not leave without having the latkes!

Walked up to a line-up out the door. Worth the wait. Delicious smoked meat and the poutine... Dear lord, the poutine. Definitely going back.

Try the meatloaf sandwich, brisket, smoked meat, or matzo ball soup. My favourite is the open faced turkey and Kishke sandwich on Challah bread with latkes. Yum!

You can't go wrong with the smoked meat platter, the latkas, the fries or the deep fried pickles. The Brisket is delicious as well as the pan seared Ontario rainbow trout. Order them with an Amsterdam

Quite likely the best smoke meat west of a Montreal. The Matzo ball soup is also a must.

Awesome deli: smoked meat as good as (if not better than) Schwartz's in Montréal, and make sure to get a side of poutine with whatever you order!

If the restaurant is crowded, just get your order to go. There's a nice little sitting area next door that would lend itself well to an afternoon dining spot.

So delightful. Great smokes meat, latkes, pickles, etc. The staff make it an enjoyable experience as well. Definitely want to try the all day breakfast!

Smoked meat goodness with gristle sandwiched between 2 slices of bread so good that, they often run out. New to the menu is a Jewish delicatessen classic: the cheese blintz. Read more

Beef brisket delivered on expectations. Didn't like the fries in the poutine (seemed a little dried out). Put mustard! Bonus: serves alcohol! :)

Decided to go for the Smoked Turkey with a Caplanky Salad. What I got was a fistful of dry, unsmoked turkey between two pieces plain rye bread. The salad came in what looked like a small desert bowl.

The new menu has got something for everyone — even vegetarians: try the Ratatouille. Of course all the deli classics are in good supply (not to mention made from scratch, with love, and in-house).

A bowl of (sadly beetless but still pretty good considering) borscht; the best smoked meat sandwich this side of Montreal, fatty and with piles of hot mustard; a pint of Mill St. I can die now.

Great stop for Sunday brunch. Not somewhere I anticipated for brunch but it was fantastic. Try the versht (beef salami) and eggs-so tasty!
