By far an away 1 of the greatest piers to spend time on in the OC. Newport put on an amazing fireworks show.

Great place to watch sunset, someone needs to update and take over the old Newport Sushi. We need a restaurant back on the end of the pier

Daytrippen.comSeptember 27, 2012From 1891 to 1907 this area was called McFadden Wharf and used as landing for ships unloading goods. After a storm destroyed the wharf in 1939 Newport Pier was built.
