PorterAirlines flies out from YTZ. Arrive early and relax at the lounge before your flight! The airport approach is very scenic, with the Toronto Islands and skyline in the background!
My favourite airport. Tiny but with a very nice lounge (Porterairlines). Service back and forth to mainland via ferryboat (and bus to Union Station).. The view as you fly in/land is amazing.
Very convenient for downtown Toronto. You get a great view of the islands and downtown as you land. It's quick to exit as it's so small, although we still had to wait a little while for our luggage.
That view is the best way to arrive in Toronto and the lounge is great. Just be aware that with the smaller planes and smaller airport, weather has a stronger effect and there are frequent delays.
Much better than Pearson in terms of access to the city. You used to have to take a ferry, but now there's a pedestrian tunnel. There is also a legit lounge for anyone flying PorterAirlines.
Cozyairport. Have a seat in the lounge if it isn't packed with delayed passengers. Enjoy the little cafe they have with free water & coffee.WiFi is available, and AC Outlets are on the floor.
It's been a long time since I've last enjoyed flying so much: easy access from downtown via ferry (tunnel soon), quick & friendly check-in, efficient security check, great lounge, free wifi & snacks!
If only all other airports were like this. Very compact, brisk connections, and a comfortable waiting area with awesome cookies! Bring your laptop or just use one of the free macs!
If you're coming to downtown Toronto on business flying via Porter to YTZ is the only way to go. Way closer to downtown... free WiFi, free snacks and drinks, and nice Apple desktops for all to use.
Really like this airport. Everything is clean and there are a lot of places to kill your time while waiting. Cafes are delicious and stores are amazing.I recommend it.
Early morning flights here are very pleasant. Be sure to use their baggies to place your liquids into before going through security to make things faster.
If you're just arriving we hope you remembered your camera! Toronto's a city with many sights! If you're leaving, we hope you're bringing a camera! You never know what photo opportunities you may see.
The most beautiful airport I have ever seen. Small but very comfy. Water, coffee & cookies for free, fast WiFi... Everythink you need while waiting for your flight :)
PorterAirlines lands you smack dab on the Toronto islands and gives you free wifi, snacks, ferry to mainland, and shuttle downtown. Canadians are nice!
Trust me and avoid flying on a long weekend, it will be a nightmare. Otherwise it's a lovely airport, taking the tunnel is quick and security is a breeze.
If you have NEXUS make your way to the front of the security line w/your card & they will take you. There is often no one staffing the NEXUS line, so this is their fix.
Free is NICE! Come with an empty carry on bag and snag all the free cookies, nuts, drinks, coffee beans, cream, sugar! Then re-sell to cover the cost of your flight.
For those flying to the US, go to the counter as soon as you get down to the lounge if you Checked-In Online. It will save you from have to get up later for your Passport Verification.
Fly Porter and use Billy Bishop, simple as that. Also when checking in you really only need a hour and a half for checking in. That still gives you plenty of time to use the fancylounge.
A small airport located on the Toronto Islands. It is used for... civil aviation, medical flights, and regional airlines using turboprop planes. It is connected to the mainland by ferries carrying passengers across a 121 metre (400 ft) gap, often noted as the world’s shortest scheduled ferry run.(Show more)
