The new Terminal B is looking very sharp, modern and super clean. A nice fresh face for Logan. Be sure to follow signs to baggage claim - there's a tricky exit door it's easy to pass right on by.
This is the only airport that I have been to that has a designated kids play area which anyone that has flown with small children will know how awesome this really is!
Boston Logan has lots of bus connections to the Boston area. Ask at information desks for which one is best suited for your destination. Back bay runs every 20 minute cost 7.50. No cash.
If you're 3+ hours early for your flight, take the free shuttle to the Hyatt. You can sit on the comfy couches in the lobby and enjoy free orange juice. Term. B also has outlets a plenty so charge up!
Top dining options: Harpoon Tap Room: Terminal A G22; Legal Sea Food: various spots (Terminal A G5); Cisco Brew Pub: Terminal B G29; Bonfire: Terminal B G36; Potbelly Sandwich Shop: Terminal C G11. Read more
There aren't many places to eat or shop in Logan like Hartsfield-Jackson, which I'm used to. You don't have to get to the airport nearly as early either because its so small.
Ignore the huge queues for international & go through the tiny security gate on the left of terminal E signposted as just for gates E1A-E1E ... Once through go up the stairs and bingo All the gates!
The structure is a bit confusing but It's modern and pretty easy to navigate around. Security line are short, restrooms are clean with fresh flower arrangement in it and free WIFI is always a plus
Great Airport!! The American Airlines terminal is nice!! Some great restaurants here to grab a bite to eat & a beer while waiting for your flight! I love all Boston Sports Teams! Go Patriots!
Please be ready at the security gate! Don't wait until you're at the counter to take off your belt, your watch, and to dig out your zip lock bag.... You're holding up the rest if us!
The terminal B renovations are outstanding. Security lines are usually pretty quick. Parking is absurdly priced. Every major roadway editing the airport requires a toll payment.
You can walk the entire airport, terminals are all connected through walkways, and soon TB will be connected post ssecurity as well to avoid the double security check points when connecting flights.
Nice seasonal selection of locally brewedbeers. Have a full stocked liquor cabinet if you want something a little more chest hair inducing. Burgers as good as any you will find in an airport.
❤Great city and airport directly connected to Switzerland Zurich with Swiss (best airline to fly long distance). If you end in terminal E enjoy the free wifi, recharging options below seats for Ipad ❤
Boston Logan Airport is easy to navigate, everyone is helpful and friendly here. I highly recommend making a appointment to become TSA Pre Check so you can fly through the line. Delta Skycap is #1!
Terminal C is connected to Terminal E, the international terminal. If you have time take a walk to the recently renovated end of Terminal E for better food, shopping, and a great view of Boston.
We flew into the airport this weekend and it was pretty easy! The airport looked liked it was under construction but otherwise it was very easy to get a cab and get home.
Decent sized airport that’s easy to navigate. TSA can be very slow, so plan accordingly. Beautiful Boston skyline is a great backdrop when taking off or landing. Especially at night!
level 6 of central parking has free ev chargers and lots of spaces reserved specifically for elec + hybrid vehicles. easy pedestrian walkway to terminal A
Legal Seafoods is a good lunch spot in Terminal B. However they are dangerously liberal with the iced tea refills. For those of you flying in a window seat, try not to drink 37 glasses!
This is a pretty great airport if it isn’t packed with folks. Terminal E has a Kiehl’s if you’re into that type of shit (which I love btw) I suggest traveling off season.
Don't forget your ID/Passport at home! You're gonna need it! Taxi to airport & extra roundtrip for fun, not really so fun! But at least you then get to fly somewhere hopefully great!
Can have the loveliest approaches over Massachusetts Bay, Cape Cod in distance, and Boston HarborIslands, not to mention Boston & environs. Yes, SilverLine to South Stn is beat mass transit solution.
rideshare pick-up locations have moved to the Ground Floor of Central Parking. Follow the signs instructions. Please wait to request your ride until you have reached Central Parking.
Some paths can be tricky here. Pay attention to your airline, it's easier to find out where should you go if you search airline and if it's international or domestic.
By far, friendliest TSA agents across the country.. Workers of day /afternoon shift on 4/29/2013 at terminal C, gates 40-49.. So friendly it was great! Made traveling a great time! Boston Strong!!!!
200y ago one would exchange everything - his gold, his health, his life for a chance to fly over Atlantic. Today most of us take this for granted. Don't:) you're different! Enjoy! This is pure magic:)
Try and get into the line of the new security pilot program - you don't have to take your laptops / toiletries out of your bag & you can leave your jackets, shoes and belts on!
If going to United Terminal B: a) drop off @ baggage claim level, way faster, and b) get off on American TSA side. Screening system is newer and faster. Leave yourself time to walk to United gates.
There are a lot of planes. Choose the one with the coolest colors and fly away! If you have to wait for you cool-colored plane (in terminal C) get the IPA at the brewery!
ParkingPass Gold is the second best $100 you'll ever spend if you fly a lot. (Global Entry is the best since passport lines in Terminal E can be 90+ minutes on a normal day.)
JetBlue gate 34 is very cool. 4 seats from Fenway Park and a shirt fro David Ortiz. I have never seen anything like this at an airport. Finding food can be interesting. There are no directories.
Make sure all liquids are out of your bag! All travel size liquids must fit in. A quart size bag You will hold up the line if you leave any liquids what so ever. Please come 3hrs before your depart!
Consider the walking distance, elevators, escalators & tram time while going to your designated departure gate. No business lounges here, no good restaurants but plenty of chairs & tables
