I have to admit that I actually do enjoy assembling Ikea furniture. In my occupation my work is intangible so seeing an actual piece of furniture come together with my own hands is very satisfying.Upvoted Mar 11
Bargain lunch: meatballs, and lingonberry sauce. Skip the mashed potatoes and gravy, substitute steamed veggies. Add a glass of lingonberry drink and it's pretty healthy & well under $5.00.
Boy those carts are hard to maneuver! Use the "tugboat" method, one of you pushes from the back and the other steers from the front. The most dedicated people arrive at 10am and know exactly what to get. I wish I were that dedicated so I just spend my time hating everything.

The salmon fillet was so good & cost $6! Add 2 pieces of cornbread for $1- Always crazy place but the people are really nice, which helps make up for it.
Get a fresh piece of cheese pizza, hot out of oven, and a free refill drink for $2.50! At bistro

Skip the pencil and paper. Snap a photo of the price tag with your phone. Thisty? Mix the lingonberry juice and Sierra Mist for a refreshing concoction!
Park on the top of the parking structure. There is always good parking up there. People seem to be afraid of unshaded parking!

Try spending all day living in one of the efficiency apartment demos. Napping gets a bit odd. So does peeing in the un-plumbed toilet.
