For the freshest of the freshest fish, make a reservation at the bar for either Tuesday or Friday evenings when their latest supply of fish just arrived. And omakase all the way!

After trying everything, the Zuke Blue tuna and Zuke salmon are the most memorable & special. They specialize in Mackeral & salmon - so you can't go wrong. The toro & caviar is beyond worth it.

Premium sushi is tasty, a good amount for one person. The black cod with miso is also a classic and very tasty, also a good portion. Also had the Thai red curry cauliflower starter and it was good too

Get the deep sea uni- it might not be on the menu. Super fresh and slightly sweet. It can even sub as dessert!

Gorgeous, simply prepared sushi here allows amazing cuts of fish to shine; stick with nigiri or sashimi.

Omakase, wagyu beef, freshly ground wasabi, sea urchin, sakes. Be sure to try from the kitchen menu too - delightful. Even the desserts and teas, if you somehow have room left, are first-rate.

Delicious, nuanced Japanese cuisine. The green tea and the incredible quality of the fish make this one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area.

Take the ferry here from Pier 38/41 - the best sushi in the Bay Area as well as other seafood entrees for those who like their fish cooked. It has been around forever for a reason - it's superb.

Hands down the best sushi place in the bay area! The sashimi dish is oh-so-wonderful. Fresh fish. Big pieces and big price tag but totally worth it. And soup lover, get that shitake miso soup! :)

Go for the 7 courses Omakase! But just keep in mind that you are leaving the Chef to determine what you are about to eat... I had a course that's a bit too experimental: shirako
