- Jason JokerstOctober 8, 2018A much mellower airport than most in terms of traffic. Friendly staff and easy access. Great Lake Brewing Company is amazing beer and food. FYI: You have to take a shuttle to get your rental carUpvoted Feb 25
- Nikelii BennettSeptember 7, 2011Cleveland Museum of Art is my favorite in the World and they have a new wing for contemporary art, Independence OH is a good central location 15 minutes from the airport then 15 minutes to downtownUpvoted 1 week ago
- Please check to make sure you seat belt is securely fastened. Your seat back and tray table are in the full upright and locked position & all carry-on luggage is placed completely underneath the seat.Upvoted 4 days ago
- Winter, spring, summer, or fall, you're certain to be overheated. WHY must they keep this airport so balmy??Upvoted 4 weeks ago
- As a United hub before and now one of my local airports now, I've always enjoyed Hopkins for the smaller feel, great amenities and increased flexibility...and of course the RTA Red Line rail service!
- This airport needs better long term parking options. Akron and Columbus offer more reasonable prices.
- SamsoniteMay 3, 2011The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is a must see in Cleveland. If you don't have time to visit on site, take a stroll down to the Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport store front!
- The Ritz-CarltonOctober 16, 2015If flying via Cleveland Hopkins (CLE), tour the art installations and pop-up exhibits throughout the airport. Among the favorites are "Guitarmania" collectible guitars transformed into works of art.
- Friendliest TSA staff I have met. Actually make all tge security shenanigans "enjoyable." And lots of phone chargers everywhere.
- Visiting on a M/W/F/Sat? The West Side Market is a culinary, cultural & architectural gem. W. 25th & Lorain. 15 min. from airport.
- Dhi D.September 3, 2013The way the bathrooms were constructed is pretty sleek. They're all in the middle so you have more vantage area to planes comin & going. Wi-fi is non-existent tho esp on terminal D.
- Sarah WilkinsonOctober 14, 2014The Bruegger's Bagels oatmeal raisin pecan cookie is to die for. Their bagel sandwiches are heavenly too!
- James UnderbergJune 4, 2015Nice and under-utilized The Delta side is a poor stepsister and not as nice -!! Functional and not too crowded - Subway not my idea of fine airport Dining !!
- It's a long walk out to those United terminals but the United Club is GREAT... a well-stocked bar, breakfast foods, newspapers, television, comfortable chairs, charging stations.. A+
- National Car RentalAugust 14, 2012If you ever need help here, look out for the individuals in the gold blazers. These geniuses have the Midas touch when it comes to getting you to where you need to be.
- Kevin LaheyJanuary 1, 2012Free WiFi worked great at C5. TSA is definitely tougher here. And if you can't find fun in Cleveland, the problem is you -- good beer, good ethnic food.
- If the "C" or "B" checkpoint is packed go to the far right (facing ticket counters) to "A" checkpoint. Typically no wait. A huge timesaver on Mon mornings or Fri afternoons. Walk back is 2 min.
- DoubleTree by HiltonSeptember 27, 2011When the check-in line is as long as the airport itself, don't hesitate to use the curbside baggage check service offered by most airlines. A tip is polite, but it is worth the saved time.
- Short term lot with lights signaling available parking spots.
- Mike WacloSeptember 28, 2018The international arrivals process here is asinine. Having to go through TSA again after my flight is pointless, and is only done because they have border control located in the middle of concourse A.
- They have a new pet area inside the airport! Look for the signs!
- Gillian KathleenSeptember 3, 2012The entire airport is undergoing renovations. They even now have a healthy snack store in the B Concourse. I won't say Cleveland is the best place ever but at least we're not Detroit. ;-)
- One of the best airports. Newly renovated and free wifi! Be sure to check out the neat dining options if hungry: gelato, paninis, cheeburger cheeburger, etc.
- Construction has turned this place into a madhouse. If you're getting picked up, meet your ride up at the departures/check-in level.
- Efficient airport but eat before you come if you're really hungry. If you have a connection after Cleveland, be sure to give yourself enough time for usual departure delays out of here.
- The United terminal has shrunk in terms of people and concessions. If you're really hungry, there's a larger food court en route to Terminal B.
- Grab a beer at Great Lakes Brewing Co. and consider yourself lucky if you're here in winter to try a Xmas ale
- If you're hungry or want some awesome beer, go to the Great Lakes brewery restaurant. Always good!
- Rebecca WAugust 1, 2013Second time here in 3 mths. Dont eat at Gordon Biersch in D the food is horrible..Concourse C? Asian spot was actually very good for a $8 meal. Crab rangoons are yummy! This airport is clean!
- This is a pretty good airport-not as busy as some. I suggest arriving about 1.5 hours before your flight leaves to give you enough time to get through security and get to your gate. Read more
- For years I've praised the St. Louis airport for having the best shoe shine, however, the bros across from the crocs store here in CLE may have stolen that title
- Hari BhagavatheeswaranJanuary 3, 2014Free Wifi works great... Concourse D is a good 10 minute walk from Concourse C... Veggie burger falls apart on you
- A lounge open to all (Airspace) is at the intersection of all concourses just a bit down B's hall.
- Kyle GrayNovember 15, 2014Seriously, the TSA people are really kind and patient. You don't very that in a lot of places.
- No frills, but easy to get in and out of. You can get a decent shot shine with chatter to go with it, but you won't get a decent meal.
- Philip OrinkoJanuary 10, 2020Clean, everybody is helpful and always on time. I enjoy every time I’m here.
- Chicken wing aficionados--Quaker Steak & Lube is open at the end of Concourse B. Worth the walk if you have time & hunger pangs to kill.
- Shawn Paul MazurAugust 16, 2011The Internet service works very well near the presidents club located by C17. There is evening a seating area with tables which makes working on a lap top easier.
- Karen CivilJanuary 20, 2015A very big airport make sure you're reading the signs on how to get out or you will get lost!
- If ur here an hour before ur flt, use the longer, middle security checkpoint. The foodcourt it leads to is wayy better than the concourse eateries. Try Curritos for solid, gourmet Mexican fast food.
- Jason WolfeJune 25, 2013If you plan to be gone more than a few days, set an automatic timer to turn your lights on and off five times a second while pulsating techno music plays. )
- If late flight arrival, order your Uber or Lyft (Lyft always less in CLE) when you first depart the plane if no checked luggage - wait is often >15min!
- Nice, easy to navigate airport in friendly, easy to navigate city. Be sure to tour the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Awesome!
- Easy airport to navigate. Good food choices including Chick-fil-a and Dunkin Donuts.
- All of the restaurants close down at 8:30pm so get your food & drink early. It's like a ghost town waiting for a flight in the evening.
- Tom HalleranApril 19, 2015Smallish international airport, has always been fast and efficient when I've been through.
