NYC: If you build it, they will come. No one thought a hangout at 29th and Broadway could be this popular, but now it's one of NYC's busiest hotel lobbies. -IFC Staff

One of our favorite boutique NYC hotels. If you're a guest, the options for amazing food at the hotel are endless: The Breslin, No. 7 Sub, and John Dory Oyster Bar, plus Stumptown Coffee.
Adorable hotel with awesome vibe and a comfy bed. Room was little warm but the shower was heaven!! Definitely recommend staying here and will be back. BONUS Stumptown coffee AND Le Labo next door!
I love staying here. It's a nice hotel with nice amenities and great service, just differently flavored than how your parents would define that. Except actually, my mom loves it. Tip tho$e bellhops!
One of the best coffee spots in the city- in the summer get the iced coffee with soy milk- and their croissants are simply delectable! Perfect on the go breakfast.
Edgyboutique hotel with a great bar/lobby area plus food choices (Breslin, Stumptown Roasters coffee) which you can also get as room service. Similar to the Hoxton or Standard hotels.
The lobby is inviting with many customers from stumptown coffee roasters sharing the space. Pretty central location a couple of subway stops away from Times Sq in the north and Union Sq in the south.
Wake up early and enjoy the more chill side of ACE - a little Stumptown, great vibe, smart and casual - ps - tip your severs & baristas well - they love their customers, so love them back!!

Very 'cool' but expensive place to stay. The lobby is a free-for-all so, as a guest, you don't feel particularly special. Good location & really helpful (and handsome) staff.
What a cool lobby; funky; very rock and roll; love that anyone can just stop in to hang (seating permitted). There is a bevy of great adjoining restaurants and a cool lobby bar. And a photo booth!
Srvice was really nice! Even upgraded my room bc of a special need. Askd 4 room dining every night & was also great as far as service, although many items of menu werent available so could btter that!
The Ace Hotel is one of the newish crop of hotels that sprang up in its neighborhood. It's also one of the more affordablehotels on this list, with a lobby beloved by the city's startup kids. Read more
There's a Stumptown next door for coffee, and - as long as you're able to grab a space on one of the comfy sofas - you can sit and work from the Ace's lobby area for as long as you want.
One of the coolest locations in the city. The ace was the hotel that started it all in NoMad. Today the area is BOOMING. ace house Opening Ceremoney and Stumpien coffee. Free wifitrendy vibe!
Live your New York stay in a catalog, which is all conveniently for sale on the Ace Hotel website. This place is super hip, comfortable, and has one of the best hotel bars in the city.
the lobby is freelancer paradise. free wi-fi, comfy couches, and you can order off the breslin bar menu. be sure to check the bulletin board daily while you're here - some great artists stop in to dj.
The rooms riff on a rock star’s pad, with deskside turntables, old records, blank sheet music and—of course—custom-made Gibson guitars propped in corners (guitar strings are sold at the front desk). Read more
The huge American flag hanging over the back bar is extremely rare, only produced between 1890 and 1891 before Wyoming became the next state / star on the flag.
Great place for a casual work meeting bc of the coffee, but hard to get desk space or plug in - too crowded. Also pretty loud - bring headphones to focus!
It never fails when walking in, NY does it's thing to me (love it) and I walk into the lobby to find my people. I suddenly relax and am in my element. I've loved every staffer I've encountered.

Best boutique hotel in NYC with Stumptown Coffee Roasters and the Breslin - you really do not need to leave the hotel but, you will. It is New York City!!
The baked eggs with tomato and chorizo with side of beans in pork fat. Amazing. The stumptown coffee is good and strong too. Lovely dim lighting. Great service. Like a new yorker cartoon.

When this place opened, NoMad was still a wasteland. The Ace changed that with a hip combination of old world charm, new world laptops, and more food and drink than one hotel deserves. STAY HERE!
During my stay my tv broke, the water in the faucets was brown & I was trapped for 30 min in an elevator. Not a great stay. The service and staff were very nice though and tried to make up for it.
Try the amazing room service which is from The Breslin. I am OBSESSED with the cheeseburger and also the grilled cheese. Also the chocolate ice cream has lovely candiedginger. Highly recommended!!!!!
Startup mafia! Cozy up to the scruffy hipsters taking advantage of free wifi at the communal tables and sip on an expertly prepared espresso drink (those Stumptown kids know their latte art).
Get a cocktail at the Breslin, or a stumptown coffee, or hipster accoutrements at Opening Ceremony (where they also have a wide array of Haribo candy).
The mini room is only 150 square feet. Upgrade to a larger room for a desk and larger bathroom. The shower is fantastic. Bar scene is a little hipster. Good wifi but general slow service.
Be sure to ask for a desk in your room. Not all rooms have one and lobby is often overcrowded. And no conf calls possible.... other than that: great place to stay, also on business trips!
