On Mon/Tues nights in January, you can catch indoor soccer games downstairs. If you're lucky you'll catch our club - Alphabet City SC - blow a huge lead in the last few mins of the second half.

VC 7-145, also known as the piano rooms; awesome hidden Baruch gem. Enjoy playing one of seven in a private room, but please, don't let me catch you having intercourse on the fine ebony & ivory again.

This college is excellent if you want to live in NYC and compete with NYU and Columbia students for employment at the same top tier companies.

You will only get as much as you put in. Keep track of your credits and classes, go to advisement, join clubs, stay friendly with administrators and professors- otherwise you'll end up bitter.

Check out the escalator attraction from the second to fifth floors. Baruch has decided that this attraction is so wonderful, it would be a shame to change anything.

Classes aren't what makes graduating a challenge here, it's the slow bureaucracy. Still, great value for price paid.

Our theories of rational optimizing agents acting in market settings are as valid in the abstract as any high-powered theory in physics, but they are ceteris paribus theories....

Pushing and shoving will get you where you want to be. I mean that literally in the elevators and figuratively with your professors.

The most poorly run bureaucracy I have ever encountered. It's harder to register, pay your bill and have senseless account blocks removed than it is to actually go to school here.
