It's a simple station, but has a good selection of tracks and polite ticket machines.

Not too ghetto at all during the day. It's best to travel with companion when getting on and off Caltrain at this station between sunset and midnight! Bonus points for Muni Operations Facility nearby!

One of the quiet stations within the Caltrain system! It's located right underneath freeway 280! Protection from rain or sun is provided!

If you get to the train station with a few minutes to spare, grab a Nutella latte from La Stazzione, which is right next door.

Despite not having a parking lot street parking is possible. Most surrounding streets don't require a permit.

During the morning rush hour or after a Giant's Game, please remove luggage and other articles from adjacent seats to allow others to sit down.

Parking is worst on Mon & Wed due to area street cleaning. Fridays are the easiest to park (many people work from home).

Unfortunately the southbound spot labeled "Board Here" is NOT where the train doors are. It's closer to the pay machines.

Sit back and enjoy sitting under a freeway, because pretty soon you're going to the suburbs and it's definitely going to be worse.

Park up the hill a little, and you're less likly to have your car broken in to.

Leave more time for parking if you're taking a later (after 8am) train, because you'll probably end up walking a few long blocks.

No elevators or ramp to the platforms, only stairs

You know you're approaching the 22nd street stop on the train when your ears pop going through the tunnel.

Careful walking over the wooden bridge. It's really rickety and probably not up to code.

Kinda sketchy at night. Not sure what's worse, waiting for a bus with or without someone else there.
