The pulled pork sounds predictable but is by far the tastiest thing on the menu. Make sure to ask for extra hot sauce to douse it in. The coconut shrimp makes a good sandwich to split with a friend.
Inventive and delicious sandwich shop. Try the Five-Spice Glazed Pork Belly, the Grilled Skirt Steak or the Grilled Portobello – all are served on bread from Parisi Bakery.
Serving what might be the best sandwiches in town. Try the Grilled Khmer Sausage Sandwich with Market Pickles and the Grilled Corn on the cob. Be ready for really long lines.
Features sandwiches concocted by gastronomes like Marie Batali and Floyd Cardoz, so there is always something off the wall among the list of yummy regulars. Winner of Best of NYC Best Cambodian!
At every location in NYC, the five-spiced pork belly sandwich never fails. The thick bread is a crunchy treat of its own and goes flawlessly with the soft pork’s sweet glaze and juices.
Maybe the best sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Veggie s'wiches usually leave something to be desired, but everything about this spicy tofu one was perfect. Definitely coming back for the others!
Best sandwich I have ever had in NY. The bread is to die for as well as everything inside. I personally love the skirt steak, but heard good things about pork and shrimp as well. Corn is a MUST!
Everything's great–second Naveen on the tiger shrimp–but the roasted cauliflower sandwich with eggplant spread is the absolute bomb. Upstairs there's sriracha at every seat (21st century's ketchup).
Grab a sandwich (I recommend the shrimp, pulled pork, steak... actually, pretty much anything) and go upstairs to watch those passing by from a secret graffiti-covered attic of sorts.
The brisket was delicious and tender as can be. Definitely will be back to try the other options as well. Also had the blood-orange lemonade which was refreshing and tangy. Also: Cash only!
Try the smoky pulled duroc pork sandwich. Smoky spiced-honey-glazed pork is crowned with julienned pickled carrots, fresh cilantro & sliced cucumber. It’s one of our #100best dishes & drinks of 2011. Read more
Cash only. I eat at their locations frequently and really enjoy the pulled pork and sausage. There's a water cooler and plastic cups available, so don't bother buying a bottle of water
The hulking coconut tiger shrimp sandwich ($8) features a half-dozen shrimp on a toasted baguette with pickled vegetables, a spicy-sweet Sriracha mayo and toasted coconut flakes. Read more
This Cambodian place is my death row meal. Pulled Pork Sandwich w/ spicy mayo and veggies. Boom, Done. Extra hungry? Add a Coconut Tiger Prawn or a Roasted Cauliflower Sandwich.
Yummmmmy!!I got the Pulled pork classic bun, the spicy mayo sauce is amazing (not exactly spicy).Watermelon juice doesn't taste artificially sweetened or diluted with… (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
We LOVE the crazy combinations that go into the sandwiches at Num Pang. Try the roasted salt & pepper japanese yam sandwich! http://www.delivery.com/menu/Num_Pang_Sandwich_Shop
Pork belly sandwich for the win! The place is cash only with a small seating area upstairs; but you're better off taking the sandwich with you to a nearby park.
You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. The sandwiches have gotten a little dinky though. So definitely go for some grilled corn on the side.
tasty banh mi sandwiches made with seasonal greenmarket veg (try the cauliflower one) and an upstairs "dining room" overlooking a rental car garage make this a sneaky fave for perfection
It's all about the pork belly sandwich at this tiny hole-in-the-wall Cambodian spot. Get it with the blood orange lemonade and your stomach will be forever grateful.
I had the Pulled Pork banh mi. It's every bit as nomalicious as everyone says. This is deffo the real deal. Cash only, seating is upstairs a small spiral staircase. Lots of sriracha bottles. Yes!
Hard to go wrong with any of the choices (although I can't speak for the vegetarian options). The bread used for the sandwiches makes all the difference.
Get anything - you won't go wrong. Grab extra napkins too, because you WILL make a mess when you stuff your face. Go ahead, order another sandwich, you know you want it.
Excellent banh mi sandwiches. Pork belly was awesome. I'll be back! Better for takeout given very limited seating (upstairs). (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The Tiger Shrimp sandwich and Veal Meatballs sandwich are standouts. For a side, order the corn with that mess of sauces and spices dripping off of it.
Try the pulled-pork. It's spicy and savory with succulent pork, cucumber, pickled carrots, cilantro and chili mayonnaise all on a lightly toasted roll. Sandwiches range from $6.75 to $8.75. Read more
It's hard to call this place Bahn Mi, since it's way more expensive and gourmet than most Bahn Mi places, but it's totally worth it. Try every sandwich at least once.
Dear Foursquare, this is not a Vietnamese restaurant. It's Cambodian. Try the coconut shrimp sandwich with some blood orange lemonade to drink- perfect lunch!!
Try the Ginger Brisket Sandwich. This one gets a bit messy so we recommend sitting upstairs rather than scaring children on the street as you devour this in a semi-possessed state.
I favor the pulled pork sandwich. The tiger shrimp one is pretty good too. If somehow that doesn't fill you up, there are also yummy shakes and tempura-fried pickles across the street at The Stand.
The pulled pork sandwich is good, but the real hero here is the veal meatball sandwich. So delicious and more flavorful than the pork. I could eat two!
Had their Pulled Pork sandwich my first day in NYC, and that set the standard for all sandwiches to come. So far no one has reached up, so I keep coming back here.
