- Jenna Odett LaskinAugust 26, 2016Some excellent dishes (cucumber with scallop, tartare, squid, pork jowl), easy sharing menu, but oddly unfinished decor. $36 for 3 dishes. Good Korean tapas.
- Bin YangJuly 6, 2017$36 for 3 items off the menu. What a bang for your buck! The big standouts are the pork jowl and sunchoke. Surprisingly filling but you'll still have space for desserts. All cocktails include soju!
- So many great dishes. The eggplant, tartare, mackeral, chicken, pork jowel are all great. Mix the egg (+truffle) and corn in with the seasonal rice and thank me later!
- Awesome. Modernized Korean - a play on banchan - $36 for 3 courses. Everything was great, highlights: brisket, tartar, corn, clam. Nice wines by the glass.
- Kiwi WangNovember 9, 2017Such interesting bright flavors! Corn and egg were just as good as expectedz. The star was the pork jowl and the surprise of the night was the chicken with spicy peanut butter. SO crispy- mind blown!
- J LSeptember 5, 2016Terrific addition to the neighborhood. The Korean tapas were all delicious w/ scallop, little neck clam, egg, mackerel, pork jowl, and seasonal rice as stand outs. Too bad they don't serve makgeolli.
- Marc SchneebergerMarch 12, 2019We did the best thing someone can do there if in a big group! Get every single dish in the menu and enjoy! Great service, atmosphere and food. Drink menu can be improved!
- The entire menu is incredible. It's $36 for 3 dishes and amazing rice. The eggplant is the best.
- Kay TeoNovember 5, 2018Get the granita. Burrata and cinnamon granita sounds weird but excellent combo of flavors and textures: sweet, tart, creamy, crunchy
- Alexandre MunhozNovember 27, 2021Outstanding service (comparable to pre covid times) and fine food. The tasting menu started really well (dubu mousse & salmon) but it went down hill in the last courses. Deserts were embarrassing.
- Ashley ChanJuly 24, 2017Expect a fun dinner with a variety of small, pretty and creative dishes in an industrial environment. Definitely not your typical Korean fare, but I much preferred this to any restaurant in KTown.
- Ernesto GutierrezDecember 31, 2017Korean tapas with a modern twist. Each tapa is packed with flavor on every bite. 3 course fixed priced meal at $39. Their specialty rice of the day is worth the extra 2 dollars.
- F. BastardNovember 3, 2017Modern, nuanced Korean food in dainty portions. Excellent value for the quality of the cooking. The grey concrete decor may be too minimal for some: the place is reminiscent of a parking garage.
- Xinyan FangDecember 4, 2016Chawanmushi with crispy quinoa and sea urchin is amazing! The chef is creative with the mix of ingredients and presentation. Great discovery!
- Alex RobertsonJuly 11, 2018excellent meal. loved the octopus, fried chicken ($21 add-on), sunchokes, the burrata on the radicchio, lotus root, et al.
- PeggyJune 6, 2022Get the fried chicken—it’s worth the add-on price and enough for 2-3 people to share. The octopus and pork belly were great; chrysanthemum was good; cod was so-so.
- Kim PhamFebruary 18, 2017Stop everything you're doing and eat here. Don't sleep on: the corn, steamed egg + uni, pork, and seasoned rice.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantOctober 20, 2016Excellent food. Menu changes frequently. And I love the restaurant design. Super modern. Def will come back
- Eddie PMarch 23, 2020New Korean... Not sure if it's actually really all that Korean but it's really good! The small dishes don't look too big but they'll fill you up. Menu is always changing.
- AmateurConciergeNovember 23, 2016Great Korean small plates: $36/person is a good deal for the quality. Best dishes: corn, fried chicken, octopus, pumpkin tart
- AnissaDecember 20, 2016Amazing ambiance for the price point! Personal faves include the tartare, sunchoke, and octopus!
- Rachel LSeptember 8, 2018Fantastic meal. Didn’t have a favorite dish because everything was delish. Beef Tartare, salmon, sunchokes and octopus were standouts
- LilyDecember 14, 2017NYT ** (2017): "Lotus root; black sea bass; tartare; corn; sunchoke; octopus; mackerel; pork jowl; panna cotta; sujeonggwa granita."
- Simran DassMay 31, 2023I liked their menu especially the fried chicken (even tho it’s extra). I didn’t love it as much as I paid for it though
- Ebee DNovember 18, 2016Super yummy and the 6 plates for $36 is a great deal. It may not seem like a lot of food, but it is! Soju Drinks are just ok. Grüener wine option was good.
- Shashi KapadiaFebruary 10, 2019Mackerel was very good. Sunchoke was standout. If you are vegetarian, I recommend getting 3 sunchoke dishes. It's worth it.
- Ryan MatznerNovember 16, 2016Go for the $2 upgrade from white to seaweed rice! Fried chicken and corn dishes were standouts.
- Alex EliasJanuary 21, 2018Get the sunchokes, broccoli rabe, steak tartare, and most important the peanut butter chicken!!!!!!
- Micah ChilesFebruary 19, 2017Every dish hit a high bar, but the two standouts were the sunchokes and littleneck clams
- Sarah OakSeptember 8, 2017Lotus root, fried chicken with peanut sauce, and seaweed rice without hesitation!
- T ZMarch 4, 2018Really inventive fusion Korean dishes. Favourite was the octopus with chorizo and kimchi.
- Familiar Korean flavors interpreted in innovative ways. Sleeper hit: the honey panna cotta.
- EM H.February 5, 2018Lotus root, sweet potato, and egg 😋 but stick to white rice to not distract from flavors of the dishes
- Alyssa B.December 11, 2022It was ok. It wasn’t terrible, just underwhelming. Beautiful plating but the taste for 50/50 of dishes underdelivers. The cod particularly was disappointing.
- Ranu RajkarnikarOctober 19, 2016Beautiful space, friendly service and interesting takes on Korean small plates. The egg uni dish is a must. Also, loved the tartare. Affordable and great for a catch up dinner or date.
- ginnnnnnny 🦀June 11, 2018Amazing menu which sets my expectation high. The actual food is okay but the egg is too sweet for my taste.
