- Berk KapiciogluNovember 28, 2015Probably the best terminal in JFK. Granted that's not saying much, since the bar is very low. I liked how (relatively) welcoming the international arrival section was. It was clean and modern.Upvoted Mar 25
- Don't wait in line 🚶🏼🚶🏼🚶🏼 for Starbucks. The Ben and Jerry's by Gate 25 serves 🌲🌲🌲 Green Mountain coffee ☕️ and there's no line. 👍🏼Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- T5 was designed by choreographer Jerry Mitchell & architect David Rockwell. The design eliminates criss-crossing & opts for circles & airy atriums. Free wifi, good food & plentiful places to plug-in.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Mike KarleskyJune 11, 2018Find a good vantage to take in the historic and beautiful 1960s era TWA Flight Center by Saarinen. It’s now being developed into the TWA Hotel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TWA_Flight_Center
- ansje millerNovember 11, 2014Healthy breakfast option = multiple places that offer oatmeal, including Piazza, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Cibo Express. I recommend Cibo for fast and decent and you can pair it with mixed fruit.
- Across from Gate 28 is the T5 Rooftop, a post security outdoor space and pet relief area.
- All the restaurants have basically the same menu, being served by the same kitchen.
- Christopher LongOctober 22, 2014This is how it should be done: JetBlue has a beautifully renovated terminal and they provide free WiFi and plenty of good, even healthy food options. Nice job.
- John DowlingJuly 30, 2022This terminal has really gone to the dogs. It had a great reputation when it opened. It’s now a mess, especially the chaotic checkout system at their unappealing food court.
- French, tapas, a steakhouse and more all right behind security. Meals are quickly prepared and tasty. The line at Starbucks is often long.
- Andrew CSeptember 23, 2016One of the nicer terminals at JFK, well any US airport + it's super cool to be in the shadows of original TWA Terminal... sleek and modern check-in area, spacious walkways, plus an outdoor garden!!!
- Men's Health MagAugust 3, 2014Elevator music, be damned. JetBlue travelers can now use Rockbot in the airline’s high-tech terminal to pick the songs that play over the loud speakers. Read more
- djeceeNovember 18, 2012Check out the Lacoste shop near Gate 7. Good deal on T-Shirt. Duty free. Free Wi-Fi and very pleasant terminal. No doubt. Jet Blue is among the top airlines serving the US and the Caribbean.
- If you're checking in with an electronic boarding pass, they'll make you go to the end so they can scan it. Don't learn this after waiting in another line, as I did.
- Anna MJuly 24, 2013Flying in the a.m.? Hit up Gate 18/19 - Illy has great coffee and Balthazar pastries; re:vive has heartier breakfast options.
- Carmen LaborinDecember 21, 2011One Of The most refreshing terminals I've been to in a while!! Free wifi, online stations, kids wait area with huge projection screen... And most important courteous attentive staff! Yes at an airport
- Larry LaBurrJanuary 2, 2013The Jet Blue hometown terminal in NYC is absolutely the best - free WIFI, great food, entertainment on surprise dates, and friendly staff - come early to this party!
- Treat yourself to Starbucks or Baked by Melissa in the main atrium, or get Ben and Jerry's ice cream by gate 25!
- The Corcoran GroupJune 7, 2011The terminal offers the best atmosphere with FREE WiFi and plenty of options for last-minute gifts or pre-flight meals or drinks. Check out the kids play area.
- Ailie ChangAugust 3, 2015When the bag drop off line is RIDICULOUSLY long everywhere, check to see if the full service line is shorter. There are two Check-In areas. Saved me 5x time this morning. Sitting at my gate :)
- Nicest terminal I've flown through in the US and definitely on par with the best internationally too. Just be tactical about moving through the Dunkin' Donuts area. It can get a little hairy at times.
- A bit of a walk from airtrain, so plan accordingly. TSA is probably most efficient in whole JFK
- The sit down dining options in the terminal are good enough that getting to the airport early and having a relaxed meal before you fly is an option. It's also a great way to start a flight.
- Rooftop and children play area near gate 27&28 + a massage chair and *bed*. Shake shack and melt shop will open soon
- I feel like this is the best terminal! They finally opened Starbucks near 23-27 gate. The Wi-Fi is free. Downside is that it is pretty far from air train.
- Ciara GSeptember 29, 2012These charging stations with many outlets and plenty of seating will make me choose Jet Blue over other airlines when flying out of JFK from now on
- James SpellJanuary 16, 2013This terminal is FANTASTIC! Quick security check, choices of food and drinks, plugs and FREE WI-FI! This is THE way to travel! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
- Head down to Gate 28 for access to the rooftop patio. Just a bit quieter and less busier than other areas in the airport. The fresh air is nice. Still no smoking.
- Keep your devices on! JetBlue now allows you to keep your electronic devices on below 10,000 feet!
- Jeffrey ZeldmanAugust 11, 2012Fantastic new terminal, clean and spacious. Good food choices. Free wifi, computers.
- Stephen RossApril 6, 2017The duty free shop has an incredible selection and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
- I live closer to horrid LGA but don't mind traveling a little further because I love this terminal. Free wifi, great food choices, lots of seats, it's a pleasure!
- Robin FullerJune 2, 2011If you don't have time or money for one of the restaurants, hit the food court's hot bar. Self-serve is fast, there are always tasty options, and you end up getting more food for less money!
- the salad bar at the food court is pretty great. it is hard to go hungry to be bored here. order beer or food from the gate too while plugging in and get free wi-do. great way to rravel!
- Gordon KelleyDecember 27, 2011If you got a lot of time to kill try don pepe's Italian restaurant on 119th st a lafferet in ozone park Jamaica queens zag at rated ain't no pasta and breadsticks joint. This is the real deal 5 mins
- Jonesing for a quick cup of coffee? Skip the long line at Dunkin Donuts and hit up the self-serve station. Good thinking D&D!
- JetBlue's terminal in JFK - lots of food options plus a good court - great place to spend the day if you're flight is delayed
- Peter MMarch 28, 2013Great terminal to hang out in. Free no hassle WiFi is always a plus. Be prepared for the hike from the AirTrain.
- People, Deep Blue. They'll crank you through (really quite excellent) sushi in 15 minutes while you wistfully recall the original dingy, defunct Deep Blue at Terminal 6.
- Felix GrushevskyAugust 29, 2015Great terminal, conveniently connected to ground transportation and airtrain, lots of good food choices
- Gets absolutely crazy during rush hour and hard to get a seat at any restaurant- most won’t even seat you unless you have at least an hour before your flight.
- Hands down the best terminal at JFK. Dylan’s is excellent for that last minute gift for the children
- L. T.February 23, 2017Best bang for your buck meal is at the Thai-ish restaurant near the pizza place. Everything else is overpriced for no reason (as expected).
- Check out the MUJI store while you're here. They have great travel accessories of all sorts, including my fave - expandable duffle bags
- The best airline terminal ever. A singing glass cleaner and another cleaner coming to collect rubbish at each table. They make me very happy.
- Grab a bottle of wine at one of the six sit-down restaurants and they'll let you take it on your flight to finish it off!
- Great terminal! Healthy food and free WIFi. Baggage claim takes a ridiculously long amount of time.
- Check out the #Kosher food options at @JetBlue's T5: http://yeahthatskosher.com/2011/12/kosher-finds-atjetblues-t5-jfk-terminal/
