Best things to do in Disneyland is grab a churro, turkey Leg, or Dole Whips a must. Grab a Fast Pass for popular attractions. Main Street stays open an hour later after park closing to enjoy shopping.
Make sure you get your fast passes to maximize your rides! My fav include space mountain, splash mountain and the sunsetview with Thunder railroad. Oh, and daily fireworks.
If you want to avoid the really long lines and don't mind an early morning rope drop is the best time to be there. You still will have to deal with the hotel crowd but it's lot less.
Welcome to the Happiest Place on Earth. While you’re in Disneyland, make sure you go to the castle. That’s where I ran into Mickey! Mickey Disanti, from my old neighborhood. He looked great.
Not the biggest Disneyland, but still gets packed out throughout the year. It is still pretty easy to walk around all of it, but you can take the train and get fastpasses to maximize your time.
Disneyland is better for kids, California Adventure has more adult rides. In Disney I would say the minimum age for kids would be around 2 yrs old, but even then my daughter was scared by much of it.
Be sure to grab a fastpass if you're only there for a day or two, and be aware that it will be crowded. Definitely a magical experience, will be going again!!
Fast passes are so so SO important! Use them wisely and thy will help! The rides are fun and the atmosphere is nice. There are many things especially for children to see, ride, and explore.
Get a fast pass for space mountain as soon as you get to the park. They sell out quick during peak seasons. Don't forget to get a corn dog on Main Street before you go home!
First time to a Disney park and they did not disappoint. Massive crowds, pricey, magically amazing. It was worth it. Pro tip, treat the staff like humans and watch them go above and beyond.
Fast pass was great! Staff is super friendly. The holiday themes for Small World, Jungle Cruise, & Haunted Mansion added to the fun! What a great way to add a different experience to classic rides!
For a break from the sun on a hot day head on over to the Enchanted Tiki Room but before the show starts purchase the Dole Whip or Dole Whip Float and enjoy it inside the Tiki Room.
Took 6 & 8 yr old grandkids in June. They loved it more than Disney World. Barely had any wait times, longest was maybe 30 mins. Very clean, great "cast" members, great kids area. Dole Whip & churros.
The fireworks are a must do at night. Even without fast passes we were able to enjoy the rides we wanted to try without a super long wait in the evening. Something to do for all ages.
We enjoyed this part of the park mainly because of the Star-wars area 👍🏼 a must see during night time especially, the staff also help get you into the theme 😁
It’s the Happiest Place on Earth and always a quality experience. The rides, food, and ongoings make for an excellent experience. I’ve been several times throughout my life when I visit Cali.
The original. Considerably smaller than Disney World Orlando, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's easy to walk both parks (especially from your resorthotel) and see and do everything.
Where to begin? Great park, great rides, great atmosphere. One tip to keep in mind "Be ready to spend because we all know that theme parks can get pricey." But it's worth every penny!
1 day isn't enough! Make sure you get into Star Tours and do not eat & buy souvenirs until you get deep into Disneyland! If you want to watch the parade, be 2 hours early and grab a spot.
If possible, go on a non-Holiday Tuesday or Wednesday, most lines will be under 15 minutes (you can fast pass the few popular ones) well-worth the odd vacation day
Red Wagon corn dogs are one of the best food deals in the park. Make sure to get your FastPasses for the more popular attractions. Pay a visit to Darth Vader or Kylo Ren at the Star Wars Launch Bay!
After having been to Disney World in August it's awesome to see it's roots! This place is so great I can't imagine ever getting tired of it. Get a fast pass for the matterhorn and hyperspace mountain!
Excellent place for little kids or family vacations! If you go on a high season, try to buy fast-pass for less waiting time on rides. Also be prepared for a lot of walking all day long.
Fantasmic is my favorite show, favorite dish is the chickencreamy pesto pasta from the PlazaInn, and favorite ride is a tie between Space Mountain and Star Tours. Get fast pass for Fantasmic.
If you are visiting the park for a couple days break try to stick to one park at a time. Also make sure you wear sunscreen and drink water! You can get a free glass of water at restaurants if you ask.
Season passes are perfect for Disney goers. It gives u discounts on store items and dinning places. Also u gotta check out the new star tours, pretty awesome :)
Go here on a weekday, not on a weekend or a national holiday, it's to crowded then and to many lines for everything. Don't bring a selfiestick inside, they will make you throw it in the trash.
everything is amazing! Best place to get treats is Pooh's Corner! Don't get scared of the lines though, usually they're shorter that they look. Rent a locker for clothes for when it gets cold
There are 2 parks . The smaller one is filled with adult rides , the larger more for kids . Single fast track passes are the fastest way to go. Also stay back for the fireworks.
the parks after dark are truly magical, with fewer crowds, cooler breezes and knockout nighttime entertainment: World of Color at California Adventure, Fantasmic and evening fireworks at Disneyland
season pass & parking pass totally worth it if you plan on going more than 4 times in the year. also. you can use your fast pass even if its AFTER the designated time alloted. (not before)
Springtime Round-Up at Big Thunder Ranch is an EXCELLENT way to meet characters. There are 6-8 there with little to no lines, and include Mickey, Minnie and even Roger Rabbit. It's a must-do stop!
Look for HIDDEN MICKEYS! They are Mickey heads in inconspicuous places. See if you can find one in the power lines of the attached picture! There are hundreds in both parks and it is FREE & FUN!
Everyone loves Disneyland! What's not to love... you got all your favorite Disney characters and the princess castle! And don't forget about the food, games and rides. Make sure you get your souvenir!
Go to the animation studio, do an animation drawing... If that isn't your thing, the big room will put a smile on anyone & heads up, that's the best place to go when it's really warm out. #offthepage
I had a wonderful time here at Disneyland you guys always leave me with a smile I need an annual passport to this location I kid you not. I'll invest my money in you guys. Thank you again
Had a wonderful time spending 1 day at Disneyland & California Adventure. I definitely suggest using a touring plan. We followed one and had ALL the must see rides done by 1PM.
I mean everything is great! Except the larger crowds that have started to appear, some people can get a little annoying. Don't forget to stop by Starbucks on your way down Main Street!
Get here early, as not to miss any of the classics at Disney's FIRST theme park, & If you've never been on The Matterhorn ride, it's EXCLUSIVE to Disneyland! Lines are long, so hit this ride first!
Who doesn't love Disneyland? My cousins and I were crazy enough to stay here for over 12 hours but no regrets! Be aware that there's a limit on fast passes so plan out your rides beforehand!
Start at DCA and grab World of Colors and Carsland passes. If you can only afford 1 park, choose Disneyland, but DCA is fun too. Skip the Monte Cristos @ Cafe Orleans unless you have a HUGE appetite.
Disneyland is amazing if you go and enjoy the atmosphere and relax. Stay realistic, don't try to cram everything in, and take a few breaks and you'll have a great time.
No doubt, this lives up to feel of being one of the most fun places you could ever visit. Young or old, you’ll definitely have a blast here at Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Main Street, U.S.A., etc.
Drop into the Hollywood Tower Hotel at night! Faster, and better!! All of the employees seem more into their role at night (California Adventure). Ride Autopia during the fireworks! Truly magical.
Disneyland Park is a theme park located in Anaheim, Califronia. It is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of the Walt Disney Company. It is the only theme park to be designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
