The elevator sometimes smells or urine for days at a time. Like someone else said: the station managers will usually let you use the bathroom if you ask! Spare the rest of us, please.Upvoted 1 week ago- If you are transferring from the green or yellow line in the direction of greenbelt, save some time and ride in front. Then take the elevator to the top & avoid the faulty escalators.
If getting off here to transfer: on Red, keep to middle/back on Glenmont trains; middle/front on SG trains. On Green, front on Grnblt, back on Branch. That will line you up best with the escalators.Upvoted 8 hours ago- Red Line: escalators on the north end are seldom functioning. Unless one set of stairs is your idea of a functioning escalator.

You will feel yourself aging waiting for a taxi at this station. They are hardly ever there and when you do get one, his driving will make you wonder if he really has a license.

This station has the prettiest patch of grass with flowering trees in DC.

This is a sketchy area...even with a police prescence . Watch your back and your valuables
If in an "Igot2pee" moment the station mgr is nice enough to let you use the bathroom.
Metro person at booth couldn't even get out the booth the assist an elderly man in using the fare card machine. I mean the asshole didn't even get out the sit and come outside.
The electronic signs seem to be inoperable regularly.
Elisabeth NyangMay 5, 2013There's an express bus to Glenmont while they are completing the track work. It takes about 30 mins, which sucks, but is not horrible.
- Don't fall asleep here waiting for the green line to greenbelt @ night lol
- Stay away from 7-11's pizza,hotdogs and anything else 7-11 cooks ....
I saw a racoon the other day here I was so scared!! LOL it was big!
On the escalator stand to the right!!!! & get the hell outta the way. This isn't NYC trains do NOT run every minute!!!
