- Arrive early and enjoy a meal/drinks @ Chelsea's Kitchen in Terminal 4. It's located BEFORE security checkpoint so your family & friends can join! Great food, chill vibe, and handsome bartenders.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Dianna StampflerApril 11, 2016Four Peaks Brewery is open later than other bars and restaurants in the airport - pub food and craft beer! Near A20-A21.Upvoted 3 days ago
- Anna HenningsMay 25, 2014Terminal 4, C gates: go to Cartel Coffee Lab! Chemex, Aeropress, V60 & Clever-brewed single origin coffee! Plus, *actual* espresso drinks (not the Starbucks crap).Upvoted 3 days ago
- Dave McFebruary 13, 2019Really an awesome airport that’s not too crowded and easy to get in and out of. This place just makes you feel comfortable.Upvoted 2 days ago
- Brittany SanchezJuly 31, 2013One of the only airports that I've been too with the best food options. If you're looking for a full meal that tastes good make sure to check out the restaurants.
- When flying internationally the customs here is pretty easy and quick.
- This airport has an excellent art program. Take the time to seek it out and don't forget to see if they are offering free artistic postcards too!
- Great local food options, clean bathrooms and plenty of seating. There is a good reason it is continually rated one of the top airports in the country.
- Paul SauerMay 11, 2018The property staff are very friendly and eager to help. I also noticed, everybody that needed assistance got it. The same person assisted them, until no longer needed!
- Theron WallSeptember 27, 2018Great food & coffee options, efficient and clean, even when it is crowded it doesn’t feel claustrophobic. Plus, literally the only place in the world where you can ride a train OVER a plane.
- You don't need to go to your terminal if you have your tickets already. Just go through security at the first place you see on the correct side and take the moving walkways on the opposite side.
- Great food options, coffee and services throughout. Excellent shoe shine at the A Gates right next to Peet’s coffee. Easy for B and C gates too.
- Gregg PullanoMay 26, 2019Very nice, at least in Terminal 4 where American has their hub. Clean, well lit and overall very modern Terminal with some good food options. Flights go all over N. America and Europe.
- Upstairs at T4 by the Sky Train is not a bad place to wait especially if you have time before a flight from another terminal like the sucky-ass T2. Plugs, comfy seating, and food!
- Free wifi is a + a minus is if you are renting a car here be sure to leave enough time. This is one instance where 2 hours before a flight applies.
- The signs don't lie, this is one of the friendliest airports in the US. Get there early as TSA can get backed up and the rental car facility is about 15 minutes away.
- MitchApril 16, 2019Very nice airport in Phoenix. Terminals are somewhat spread out. Free wifi. Lots of grab snd go food available if you have limited time between connections.
- Ira SerkesJanuary 16, 2012Renting a car? Take the bus to the Rental Car Center (RCC). It's about a 10 minute ride 3 miles away. When returning the car, it's easier to get to RCC by I-10 or I-17 than going through the airport.Upvoted Feb 25
- Try all of the local food in Terminal 4! Four Peaks is the local brewery and a must have.
- Best airport name ever! Sky Harbor! Come on!!! So awesome! AND the carpet has an airplane pattern! Best carpet too. :-) Can’t forget how great it feels to fly away from the heat or back to the cool.❤️
- If you're in Terminal 4, best food is at Sir Veza's for Mexican or Four Peaks Brewery for local brewpub fare. Cant go wrong with a Cartel Coffee Lab brew, either.
- Great choice of food in terminal 4, both A and B sides of terminal. Cowboy Ciao by B16 is great.
- Burgers are lower priced and equally tasty at Modern Burger on lower A concourse. On Upper A deluxe burger is twice price.
- RossMay 20, 2019Looking for a souvenir? Scorpion lollipops are a popular Arizona souvenir novelty or gag gift. The unique candy is apparently the airport's best selling item.
- Very nice airport. Good selection of restaurants and prices aren't too bad. Pretty good sushi in the American terminal too!
- Elvis KibitiNovember 27, 2021Short on open restaurants, line at every meal place fast food included and if you get in to an actual restaurant they all have reduced menus to simple sandwiches. And they all close kitchen by 5pm
- The airport outposts of local restaurants have street pricing - meaning you won't be gouged by outrageous airport food pricing. Prices in airport are the same as the outside restaurant.
- Richard RevillaApril 23, 2023Smooth Operation to get through security. There is a Monorail now that takes you to the Car Rental Center.
- Sarah SwitzerFebruary 12, 2015This airport is pretty good. I've always gotten through security quickly, and never had to walk too far to get to my gate. As a mom, the park and walk long term parking is horrendous, however.
- Richard BoardmanMay 19, 2014Got an hour to kill? Stretch your legs with a wander around the rectangle of terminals. Infinite walkways! Wacky carpet! Note it's not a full loop. You can only cross n/s from b to c at the east end.
- Jenn MesenbrinkDecember 13, 2019Small, simple airport; quick trip through TSA (no line this Friday morning). If flying United—Paradise Bakery & Cafe has a yummy egg white, avocado and spinach sandwich at breakfast time! ✈️
- Eat at Sauce. The food is delicious, fast, the service is excellent and the atmosphere rocks. It doesn't feel like an airport restaurant.
- Try the 'Don't fly as much as me because your kids are growing up so much and you're missing it' special. It's a can't miss!
- Massive airport, free WiFi, lots and lots of options in the desk area and also in the gates, bars, wine bars, lunch, dinner, etc.
- One of the easiest airports to get through, I’ve never waited in line once with pre-check at United Terminal 3. Literally can arrive 30 mins before flight boards & soar through TSA.
- Jessica LockeJune 24, 2013Go to Blanco Taco+Tequila in Terminal 4! Probably the best meal I've ever had in an airport. Had the braised short rib & avocado cheese crisps & the white peach & hibiscus margarita. Delicious!
- MeliSeptember 2, 2014Because it's usually 100+ degrees outside, they blast the AC inside the airport, making it feel like the North Pole, so bring a sweater if you're stopping here. There's also free wifi and charge ports
- Give yourself sufficient time to drop off your car rental. Plus, gas stations in area are more expensive than the rest of the city!
- Andra ZapartanMarch 5, 2016I love this airport. It has lots of bars/lounges/restaurants and they all look awesome.
- I like this port for the Wi-fi and Mexican food. Don't like the rental car distance so much. Get a seat. And men, give up your seat to a woman if it's crowded. Chivalry is always appreciated.
- The only person who was friendly upon my entry was the person trying to sell me Clear. No benefit to precheck here either. Just sat down at SanTan though, and so far everyone here has been awesome.
- La Grande Orange (I think that's the name of the restaurant) has excellent food but a terrible setup. Ordering and getting your food can be confusing but it's worth the hassle. Music's good too!
- Yan BaczkowskiMay 15, 2015I love this airport. I think it is well built, and easy to get around with great amenities and fast security. I hope that it keeps up good direct service with the merger
- RaeMarch 24, 2017There is a good work desk and charging station by gate A17. Grab a dirty chai latte from Peet's coffee and settle in and get caught up on your emails.
- try a big fluffy english muffin at la grande orange in the D terminal (or on 40th street outside of the airport)....and enjoy my lovely hometown if youre stayin ^____^
- Jerry FergusonFebruary 11, 2013The Paradise Bakery & Cafe right across from Southwest gate C14 turned out to be a great lunch stop. The Paradise Club sandwich was excellent and the service is outstanding.
- Lindsey TimbermanMay 5, 2014Looking for a great gluten free option at the airport? Check out La Grande Orange in the D terminal. The gluten free pizza was tasty - get the margherita!
- Wendy's in terminal 3 between gate 18-19 doesn't serve hamburgers till after 10am. $9.00 steak & egg burrito across the way is the best bet for breakfast.
- Big airport, but layout is easy and cleaner than most. Always pick up on North curb. Make sure to arrive early and ppl watch. Welcome to some dry heat ☀️
