- Steven ParkerMarch 24, 2013I don't want to offend the people of Buffalo but, honestly, this is one of the best airports for an also-ran city that I've ever seen. You Buffalo people -- with your super-nice airport -- rock.Upvoted Mar 9
- Cross the border from Ontario, Canada & fly out of Buffalo to most US cities! My recent flight out of Buffalo to NYC, I was TSA pre check approved which was an added bonus! Great travel experience!Upvoted Feb 10
- Sam AnthonyDecember 15, 2017Great small airport! Everyone is super nice, many vegan and vegetarian dining options, super fast security line. Yay!
- Zsa Zsa Snow TigerAugust 28, 2012Pls remove your shoes, belt, sweater/jacket, toque, hat, gloves, laptop etc. Throw away liquids that are more than 3oz/89ml. Geez, you would think that after 10+ years of this you would have it down!!
- John HankusMarch 9, 2015Small airport that is easy to get around. I love the fact that the rental cars are on site and right across from baggage. Easy at the anchor bar to complete your experience.
- Smaller airport. Usually moves pretty quickly. Flights are usually on time unless there's a blizzard. Quite a bit of things to do inside the airport. They've filled the space nicely!
- They have water bottle filling stations inside the secure area. Dump the fluid, keep the container with you.
- Really a great option for close border Canadians. Even if you use premium onsite parking it's still cheaper than Toronto and airfare is better 90% of the time. Security is a breeze in the am.
- Two interesting eateries: Anchor Bar has the original buffalo wings. 'Nuff said. Try the suicide wings if you dare. Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is a fun sandwich shop. Bit expensive; decent taste.
- Hungry for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Get to Which Wich near gate 20. Only location in Buffalo and is delicious!
- Friendly advice: moving walkways are not prime locations to take group selfies. Don't be that group of assholes who block the entire walkway, or don't be pissed when people walk right through you.
- No need to watch a video or fill out a survey for free wifi anymore. It's free for 45 minutes (or $4.95 for an hour). When your time is up, just log back in for another 45 minutes.
- If you're coming in the winter for a short weekend away, it's worth the premium for covered parking. With lake effect snow, you don't want to come home to find your car buried.
- Travis AllisonFebruary 1, 2015A) LOVE the rocking chairs! B) security here has always been happy and polite C) travel with @topaz - you get selected for the Pre-Check line!
- The most un-traumatic full body security pat-down I've ever had. These gloved knights are utterly professional. Great airport!
- Linda HastingsMay 8, 2014security was a breeze, yeah to not having to remove shoes belts jackets. Be friendly, smile, say thank you goes a long way and changes everyone mood to the better. Try it it's fun to see what happens
- Don’t bother with any of the restaurants. Hate to say it, but these are super poor representations of Buffalo’s food scene. Also, the Anchor Bar here is a far cry from the real thing.Upvoted Jan 30
- Yes, it’s Buffalo. No, do not eat anything that states they serve buffalo wings anywhere in these terminals. You’ll thank me.
- Never too crowded. Fast to get through it and good food courts. If you are into chicken wings you find Anchor Bar!
- If you want to wait for your ride in a smoke free environment, go upstairs to arrivals - there's clean air there!
- Anchor Bar! That's the highlight of this airport. Bottom floor arrivals. Top floor departure. Long term parking has 2 free hours parking. Remember that if you want to wait for someone.
- Passengers: PLEASE remember to be on time for your flight! All airlines close the door 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. We understand Canada has different rules, but we are in the USA :)
- I want to stick my face in wing sauce. Anchor Bar's smells kill me when I get off the plane. (Not hungry? Snag the 3-wing option to wipe the drool from your face)
- Make sure to arrive extra earlier for flights at 6am, 11am, 6pm as most airlines have multiple flights at those times and lines can get long..2+ hours to be on the safe side
- Kieran JackAugust 9, 2014A nice small town airport near the Canadian border, there are a few nice cafe's at the airport were you can relax before your flight
- The food selection here is pretty terrible, but there is an Anchor Bar. It can be hit or miss, but you'll get the best wings in any airport in the world.
- Super speedy security check, great TSA! FYI, 42 min of normal living exposes you to more background radiation than does ANY x-ray security screening. So shut up and keep the line moving!
- Don't park or sit on any of the roads in the airport, you WILL get a ticket. All the long term lots have 2 hours FREE parking & free shuttles to & from the terminal.
- kim foxAugust 4, 2014Clean and bright. When I was there, unfortunately, they allowed the long lines at security even when there was no one in the TSA-Pre Check line.
- Stefanie DeVargasSeptember 12, 2014Every is closed after 9 PM so be sure to munch before arriving if you have a late flight
- If traveling between Niagara, Canada and #BUF I suggest using @niagaract for limo/sedan service. If staying in #notl or #niagarafalls they offer wine tours too.
- Free WiFi available if you complete a very short survey, or watch a video - after connecting to the network!
- Cathy HanFebruary 18, 2012If you're looking for a place to eat, there's a Denny's very close by. Cabs are $8/trip, flat rate anywhere around the airport :)
- Sitting in the comfortable terminal is forbidden after 1 am because freedom, so they will kick you out to keep america safe.
- Evidently, there is a local ordinance that states a Goo Goo Dolls song be playing in the terminal at all times. Be forewarned.
- You’re going to want to come early for some Anchor Bar wings before you head out.
- Gabi BulumacOctober 1, 2014The airport serves Buffalo, New York and Southern Ontario, Canada ;) Don't forget to go at Niagara Falls....
- MilaFebruary 17, 2012Stay at the @Marriottintl if you have to stay near the airport. Very quiet and great #custserv #smbs12
- Daniel KivariAugust 22, 2013If you are here for an early flight, eat breakfast! None of the food courts are open and this $3 muffin from the kiosk is not up to the job.
- Loved not taking off shoes and removing laptop... Made things less stressful feel just as safe
- Malek AlmutairiDecember 16, 2016First time flying through here. Seemed very straight forward and didn't run into any issue!
- Joel HughesSeptember 15, 2019Come early. May not be necessary but sure is a good feeling to be early rather than late.
- Parking shuttles can be a nightmare in the mornings. Add at least 15 min if you're relying on these things. Better yet, skip the exorbitant parking fees all together and get dropped off
- WarrenJuly 27, 2012Small airport and yet ppl complain about check in to long. Gtfoh go to a major airport like atl or chicago and u will see the difference
- There's no priority check-in or security lines, so come early and be prepared to wait in line with the ordinary people.
- Get a good luck at those Greatbatch banners before they move the whole company to Texas. Good work NYS & BNE
