The drinks here are succulent. Try the Toloache Margarita and CucumberJalapeño Margarita! The Chicken Enchiladas taste like beef, but they're not.. Insanely delicious. Also loved Fish Tacos!
Everything here is amazing, especially the black truffle quesadilla, guacamole trio, and the carne asada tacos. Wash it all down with a delicious margarita, and you've got the perfect Mexican meal.
The taste is why this place is pricier than your usual Mexican fare. Both vegetarianpaella de quinoa and Costilla de Res (braised beef short rib in molé sauce) were very good. Guacamole yums too!
Seriously fantastic. The foursquare special is the bomb. The food may be a smidge pricey, but it's fantastic. The guacs are awesome, but chipotle is the best. Great experience.
An upscale Mexican spot in the middle of the theater district. Margaritas were strong and the guac was delicious. The ceviche dishes were great as well (loved the tuna tiradito and the tunataquitos)
Guacamole trio is essential. Toloache margarita is the way to start. Get two orders of tacos, and try the shrimp! If you're really hungry, carne asada entry is for you. Excellent service
The tortillas are nice but FAR too thin for a single to be used on a taco, especially if yours are delivered. Get a side order of tortillas as well so you can double them up.
Really incredible Mexican fare, make sure to try the pomegranateguacamole. The truffle and cornquesadilla is delicious, but definitely a starter size and not a main. Grab a frozen marg too!
We had a reservation, waited maybe 5-6 minutes to get ready our table. Ordered Guacamole, TacosCarne Asada and steakCarne Asada. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was good and kind. Thanks
Delicious tacos, full flavored & generously portionedbrunch meals, capable cocktails, good tequila selection. Spacious interior. My go-to Mexican joint above 23rd St and family-friendly.
Best fish tacos ever. I also loved the salsa. Probably best salsa Bar have had. The chocolate crunch cake was also delicious. Loved the chocolatepop rocks on it.
If you like your margaritastart and sour, the sweet Hibiscus margarita, a refreshing treat made with real hibiscus flowers probably isn’t for you. (You probably hate ice cream and puppies, too.) Read more
Try guac, camarones toloache, carne asada & the mescalcocktails. It's more mellow & smokier than tequila. One drawback: hostess spent 10+ minutes looking for our coats then asked for a tip! Huh?
That Grasshopper Taco at We just don't understand how this crunchy little thing drenched in savory spices is just so darn good! And, besides the immediate shock value, you cannot stop eating them.
Outstanding place. Tacos were unbelievable (lobster & brisket the best but shrimp & fish were also amazing). Spicy guac w/chips was fantastic as was margarita. Great service & atmosphere.

The tacos are tiny, but DELICIOUS!!! It doesn't matter what kind, as they are all good. We did a sampling. This holds my heart for favorite tiny tacos during all my travels.
Good! The Rojo Guac might be the best I've ever had. And the fried Brussels sprouts blew my socks off. Service good but food took longer than our neighbors, wish we were offered another drink.
Cucumberjalepenomargarita is spicy, refreshing and delicious all at once. A gem of a pre-theater dinner, or just a break from the craziness of Times Square
Overpriced, but the black truffle quesadilla was delicious. Potatoes accompanying my carne asada were really good too. Interesting dessert options. They bring chips & guac to start.
Featured on Unique Eats. Their food seems to be mostly refined Mexican. They have an item on the menu that is the smoked toasted grasshopper tacos. The food there looks amazing.
If there's a thing called Mexican food haven it's Toloache! Avocadofries, cactusfries, spicy guac and ALL the cocktails PLUS desserts!!! Crazy amazing. Best in NYC
Order the guacamole trio for the table and share along with the trufflequesadillas, short ribquesadillas, chicken tacos, brisket tacos and shrimp tacos - all are absolutely delicious!
Food is solid. Comes fast, good for the theater crowd. Fish slightly overcooked and sauce similar to the salsa. premium margarita tasted like mix. for an amazing Mexican dinner I’m not coming here.
Your life too boring? nothing exciting happening in ur life lately? no worries! Just ask Miguel for the habanero sauce and add some spice to ur life! U can thank me later! ;)
Tacos is perfect!!! Service is very good! We were presented two shots of tequila for foursquare check in ;) try cocktail with Herradura named Toloache - very nice! ;)

Extra-friendly service, delicious food (my fav was the hamachiceviche) and fabulous "mezcalitas". The 8yo's review "Excellente! I loved the pork. Gracias!"
EVERYTHING is perfectly scrumptious, ALWAYS start with Trio of Guac, sitting @ the bar: have Miguel whip up one of his creative cktls to suit your mood, which will most certainly rise 2 'perfection'..
