Great food, service and ambiance with lots of free starters. Try the on-the-bone Veal Parmigiana - it's the best you'll probably ever have and totally worth the high price tag.
This place was fantastic. I really liked the chicken parm, the champagnetruffleravioli, & the dessert platter (portions are huge so be careful). The apps at the start are amazing as well
By far my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. Every meal that I've had here is superb. The service is phenomenal. rack of lamb is to die for. burrata will make u want to cry with happiness.
One of the oldest and finest Italian restaurants in the city. Simple pastas with traditional lamb or vealragús are especially good differing notably from other restaurants.
Smelled delicious as we entered, space is very small and tight... complementary cheese, bruschetta, and pepperoni to start + veal parm was phenomenal, black squidpasta with seafood was on point!!!
Il Mulino remains true to its trattoria roots, offering hearty portions of rusticItalian fare. Note that reservations are hard to get here, so it's best to plan in advance.
Food and service is amazing here, I was impressed all around. If you're ordering shrimp and want something different from the menu, as for it to be cooked in lobster sauce, delicious!
Old school Italian feel where giant chunks of parmesan tide you over as the moody staff make the night special. The specials are overpriced but the pasta is great. Google "captain's tip" before you go.
What an experience. Completely spoiled from beginning to end with culinary delights, wrapped up with house made raisin infused grappa. Step into another time & feast.
Il Mulino’s shining point is that the food is truly authentic. Known for its home made and best-in-town pasta, we went a different direction in ordering the double-cut veal chop and were delighted.
Pace yourself. Delicious parmigiano reggiano cheese followed by a platoon of appetizers is a meal in its own right. Saltimbocca veal was great. Flourless chocolate cake ended the meal in heaven.
#9 - IWalked NYC's Top 10 Italian Restaurants. Greenwich Village staple. Been voted the #1 Italian restaurant in NYC by Zagats for two decades. Portions are ginormous & have lots of garlic!<LINK> Read more
Noted as one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, this old-world eatery is doused in lace and white coat service. Be prepared for the whopping bill.
The Dover Sole was quite likely the most perfectly cooked fish I've ever had outside of Japan. You will also get almost an entire meal before you are handed the menus.
The health inspector's visit effected everything- the waiter was nervous, the food was slow, and the dessert couldn't be changed, but still, DELICIOUS. very dark, if that's not your thing (not mine!)
