OreoDecember 6, 2017Ariport railway station to Medan is across arrivals exit gate, check their website for departure schedule, tap water available, durian cant be brought to cabin plane, wrap it/put in into your baggage

- Se7enthAngelJuly 11, 2018V took NiceTrans taxi(PROTON EXORA) to Parapat - turn right after exit, almost to the end, u will find a rep in nicetrans shirt. Xpect 2 pay 521K (with toll) if u want the entire cab 2 yourself.

d_yanzMarch 11, 2015There's a big musolla (Muslim prayer room) at level 1 (arrival) and level 2. There's none unfortunately at the departure check in area.
Nothing is quite impressive. Despite the massive size of the airport, internet wifi is poor, arrogant & not friendly officers & staffs. Overall, the only thing that is good at KNO is only the toilets

The newest airport in North Sumatra . Just watch out for unofficial Taxi standing by there- Although Citilink has applied airport tax paid in the ticket system, the web check in printed boarding pass barcode still need to be printed again at ticket check in counter. KNO bad system.
