DART just added a train stop at Terminal A that's super convenient. Takes about an hour to get from Dallas but worth it (only $2.50!). To get there from airport go to A10 & take elevator downstairs
E concourse is where to be for long layovers. They have comfy lay flat couches with charger stations and from what I could tell is less busy then other parts of the airport. A+
International terminal-modern & recently renovated. World class. Excellent shops & restaurants. Accessible from domestic terminals. No need to leave and have to re-enter security. Great storm views :)
Don’t make the same mistake I made. Should you try to escort an incredibly well-behaved but admittedly full-grown bull through the terminal, you’re likely to be met with some resistance.
Gate A35 had a deluxe upgrade with the best high end technology this town can afford. Not two. But THREE vending machines conveniently parked right across from the boarding gate. Come hungry folks!
Super easy to navigate once you get the layout. Skytrams are inside of security and are very fast and easy to use. Many parking options on/off site. Lots of remodeling so be aware of this.
Easily the most efficient airport in the country. If you’re going between terminals, DO NOT WALK, take the Sky Link train, it’s super quick. Visit the American Express lounge on layovers.
Top Dining Options: Cousin's Bar-B-Q, Terminals B and D; Cereality, Terminal C; Grand Hyatt DFW's Grand Met and M Lounge, Reata Grill, and La BodegaWinery in Terminal D. Read more
If your car won't start, DFW has a FREE courtesy service that will give you a jump! Doesn't matter if you're flying or just picking someone up. The gentleman who helped me was very nice.
Great parkinggarage. Other than that, lots of options for security checkpoints in case the one you go to is way too busy, just walk down to the next. DFW airport is so big it’s got its own zip code
Great airport, be sure to purchase food I side the airport before your flight! That way, everyone looks to you while you’re eating something good and they’re eating a bag of pretzels.
Lots of great food options just remember that it's a big airport and takes time to get from one side to another. Also all the restaurants stop serving food at 9:30PM so don't wait until it's too late.
Good food choices but spread far apart. Make sure if you have a connecting flight to get moving towards your gate as fast as you can since the airport is so blasted huge!
This airport runs smoothly, easy to get around, more than enough amenities per concourse. Draw back is the massive area(distance) covered to get to the concourse you need to be, even with the train.
If you're a fist time visitor this airport can get super busy. For international flights I'll recommend arriving four hours before and domestic two hours. The service is great and everything is clean
This place is enormous. Definitely give yourself extra time if you are coming here and going through security for international flights... It must be crazy! There is a monorail to move you along!
Layout here is better for origin/destination travel than connecting. If you know which gate your flight is at, you never have a long walk from security.
Allocate enough time to travel. Very frequently flights change departure terminals and they are not close. Without enough time you will have to rush through the long security queues!
DFW Airport Valet on the terminal level of each parkinggarage is pretty fast and returns your car to whichever terminal you return to. A text awaits you when you land with instructions. Love it.
Easy to navigate thanks to SkylinkTram! Arrive super early (for domestic & int'l flights) and relax in the Amex Centurion Lounge in Terminal D. Cocktails, snacks, seats, and wifi...c'est magnifique
So long as you don’t have to transfer between terminals, this is a great airport. The tram is easy to use, but as w/ everything in TX, the airport is big and you need time to get from place to place.
Renting a car is such a hassle. Be prepared to add another hour to your travel time as the rental car center is quite far away and the only way to get there is via a bus
Arrived very early for a morning flight and was stuck on the curbside for several hours. Not a 24 hourairport. Great new shopping/dinning once your through TSA and on the other side.
That's one of the greatest airports in the world. I'd advise you to always get in through D, enjoy the Bars and restaurants there and then get the tram to your gate.
This place is huge. Never a long line at security. This place is laid out un such a way that there is brilliant access to each baggage claim area that covers so many gates!
The cell phone lot at the North entrance is atrocious. Parking is limited, and you'll get ticketed if you park on the lot's curb (its not marked well).
DFW Airport is THE best airport! LAX, LaGuardia, O'Hare, Denver International,...all pale by comparison. I have yet to come across a better one. Brilliant design and functional layout can't be beat.
Course C's guest lounge is perfect: Tucked away behind Starbucks and near the Skylink entrance, this area has bar-style seating, comfy chairs, a TV, plenty of power outlets and an office nook! Nice.
Now you can use your NTTA tolltag to pay at the toll booth. You don't have to wind down your window to get a ticket. This is going to work out real nice when the weather is cold.
To save yourself time and cut down on stress, enter the airport at whatever terminal you come in. Then go thru TSA. After that you can take the Skylinktrain to your actual terminal.
If you have a longer layover, go to D terminal. It's a new terminal that is quiet, spacious and has a variety of different shops, food etc.. way less stress than the other terminals
Cousins bbq in terminal b is some of the best brisket I have eaten. That is a complement because I have been to Charlie Bryant"s in Kansas city. The broccoli and rice was good.
Make sure you know your terminal and gate number before getting dropped off…otherwise getting to the right terminal via the sky train can take 15+ mins!
