- Caroline DengJune 27, 2016Everything about this place, from the lavender agave latte and mint matcha latte to the succulents and seating, is so aesthetically pleasing. Such a gem in the Greenwich Village area.
- Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideAugust 30, 2014Although there's not much world going by on this part of E 10th St, you get a pretty good view of what there is at City of Saints. They roast their own coffee in Greenpoint and pull pretty good shots.
- Taylor SchwarzFebruary 11, 2019The lavender latte is delicious if you are looking for something different than your everyday coffee. Great bar to set up your laptop to work - plus free WiFi.
- It took far to long for me to buy a latte here. They’re some of the best I’ve ever had. They’ve got great coffee all around, and a few high quality pastries. About 8 seats but never super busy.
- Kimmie OhhJune 30, 2020Their lattes are very creamy! Try their iced lavender agave latte or mint matcha lattes for something different. They have supermoon bakehouse pastries! They also have seasonal drinks!
- AlexApril 21, 2016seasonal drinks are delicious. super nice staff. lavender agave and mint matcha latte are incredible.
- Excellent coffee, especially the African beans. Go for the pour over. The pastry selection and the baristas are solid too!
- FJanuary 21, 2016Single-Origins are on par or better than La Colombe, they serve Donut Plant donuts, and the staff is super cordial. Only downside: no WiFi.
- Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideAugust 30, 2014Located on a sleepy East Village side street, City of Saints roasts their own in Greenpoint, pulling good triple shots and serving their espresso in a cappuccino cup. (6/14)
- JeansSeptember 25, 2014Gorgeous space+friendly staff who accommodated my late order 5 min to closing (7pm wkdays). So sweet! That one tip about free WiFi was mistaken tho. Don't hold it against them!
- Ugur KanerOctober 24, 2018These guys know what they are doing. Quality single origin, talented baristas (see, microfoam)
- ᴡ ElliotAugust 11, 2015Decent coffee, delicious gluten-free vegan breakfast pastries. The window table is perfect for working because it's really wide, but there's no wifi.
- I have been going there for the past 4 years and I love their coffee but they recently increased prices from $4 to $4.50 which is a shame. Also there is still no bathroom.
- ginnnnnnny 🦀January 28, 2019Really good lavender latte. The lavender taste is not overly strong like those I’ve had before, and boosts the coffee taste very well
- Phil KatzJanuary 3, 2016Fantastic cup of coffee, freshly roasted single origin beans, expertly brewed. Some bar seating, but a small space overall.
- Che ToriJuly 10, 2017I watched the barista sneeze into his hands and then touch the beans without washing his hands. The other barista dropped the ice scooper on the floor & w/out washing it, scoop ice into cold brew.
- Cindy HuynhAugust 24, 2016Lavendar agave latte is a new favorite. Just a hint of lavendar, not too powering.
- Every month brings a new matcha special. Fall in love over and over again but I warn you: do not become attached.
- Jason BrewSeptember 6, 2015Very pleasant shop the specialized in Ethiopian coffee, which is where the name comes from. I enjoyed their cold brew
- NetsirkDecember 19, 2015Cute coffeeshop near St. Marks with a couple of seating. Great coffee and nice staff.
- Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideAugust 29, 2014On a sleepy side street off 4th Ave, City of Saints roasts their own and is a bit lacking in the decor department, but doesn't have any competition in the immediate area.
- AliciaAugust 23, 2014Fools cold brew and delicious oatmeal raisin cookie that I had no clue was vegan!
- The lattes here are on another level 🔥. So creamy and delicious.
- Mat CollisDecember 12, 2016Coffee tastes pretty burnt man but nice quiet little spot to chill out and get warm
