- I can't get over this spot. $9 (even at dinner!) for fresh, delicious pasta dishes. $10 for bottomless mimosas. Awesome service, spacious and clean. Don't ever change, San Marzano.Upvoted Mar 16
- Loved their $9 pastas ! They do cook with peanut oil in the kitchen so be aware of this if you have a nut allergy. They only take reservations for groups of 6 or more.
- Chad HornerApril 7, 2016eminently affordable ($9 pastas, $6 wine by the glass) and delicious! no reservations, so put your name in and head two blocks north to Fresco Gelateria for a pre-dinner coffee or tea (or gelato!)
- The best deal in the East Village. After extensive taste testing, I recommend the garganelli with braised sausage and ricotta. Pappardelle with bolognese comes in strongly at number two.
- Ranu RajkarnikarSeptember 18, 2014Casual, inexpensive new addition to the neighborhood. The $7 burrata appetizer might be the best deal in town. Good meatballs, panini and pastas too, all under $10!
- Nicolette RomeroDecember 5, 2015Come for a group dinner! For $50/person, you get shared apps, a pasta and unlimited drinks (beer, wine, sangria). I highly recommend the pappardelle with pesto or wild boar ragu! 🍝
- Cole KennedyJune 10, 2019This is the move for an affordable dinner with friends. The portions aren’t huge and the pasta isn’t unbelievable, but when you can get dinner and wine for around $20, it’s good enough.
- Allie GoodchildJanuary 23, 2015$9 pastas and $4 draft beers. It may be hard to imagine, but the food is even better than the price. Opt for the eggplant parm style appetizer dish! You can afford it.
- Caroline DengMarch 6, 2016Pappardelle and Broccoli Rabe and Sausage is amazing. Cheap pasta under $9, $10 bottomless mimosas for brunch...this place is perfect for your boozy brunch needs.
- Fresh pasta for a unsustainable low price for so good ingredients and taste. Very crowded, come early.
- Valerie SSeptember 23, 2018Fun place with amazing and very reasonably-priced pasta options. It gets busy though, so come early or at an off-peak time (or try to get a seat at the bar!). Otherwise, expect a long wait.
- Nicole ReganJuly 9, 2018Really fun place for groups. Their all you can drink special is very generous, food is good, and the server always made sure our glasses were full. Can get a little loud at times, but not too bad.
- The pitcher of sangria is an unbelievable deal. $15 for pretty much 8 glasses. Pasta was delicious too. Portions are on the small side but prices fairly reflect it. Great addition to the neighborhood.
- Natra AgaOctober 21, 2018Why it’s so affordable I don’t know. Super quality dishes and wines for fraction of nyc prices! Come if u want great ambiance ,Italian and don’t want to break the bank.
- Sagar KumarMarch 21, 2019Can’t compliment this place enough. Everyone ie so kind, the portions were good, the pasta is delicious,& prices are stellar. Only occasional problem is available space - it can be a squeeze.
- Super affordable! Great gluten free pasta. But save room for dessert! The fried dough with Nutella and ricotta thing will seriously make you wish it was the last thing you'll ever eat.
- This is a great date spot. The food is tasty (a bit too salty). The portions are on the smaller side but everything is very cheap. I love the braised sausage and ricotella.
- Becca BaeFebruary 1, 2017Love some cheap pasta and wine, but the service was erratic and the crowd was what I imagine the sea of vagrants in hell to be like.
- Daniel MaliaJanuary 27, 2019Come early, gets very crowded. Bread is free if you ask for it. Also ask for the olive oil and vinegar to dip it. I would avoid salads as the are pricey but great (not in value).
- Alex RobertsonJanuary 11, 2017that 9-dollar pasta plate along with a 15-dollar sangria split two ways is just a wonderful date night! beware the loud brunch clientele though
- Chez OngJanuary 18, 2015I really really like this place. Service is friendly and food is consistently good. I'm a big fan of their Brussels sprouts and pappardelle pastas.
- Eli ShowalterSeptember 8, 2015The value here is incredible. Delicious pasta (the stroganoff and butternut squash & sausage sauces are delicious) plus pitchers of sangria and craft beer cheap prices. 👌🏼
- Asli SMarch 18, 2017Great value. Pasta was delicious and a good portion. You can choose the type of pasta and the sauce you want. Had farfalle with the alla nonna sauce 💯
- Grace BarrMay 5, 2018Wait for a seat at the bar for 2 people and you’ll get seated much quicker than waiting :)
- Danielle DavisJuly 31, 2014Great service - affordable fresh food - cool urban chic decor - WIN! Great dinner spot :) The hand rolled pasta was delish
- Alice ChaoJuly 5, 2017If you only have $9, then sure spend it on this pasta. It's like a quick budget-friendly meal, but it's far from the best pasta you'll ever have. Think Chipotle but with pasta.
- EileenJuly 26, 2017I liked the pappardelle with wild boar ragu over the bolognese. Will probably try something new next time since there's so many options. Service is slow so only come when you're not in a rush
- Rewan PartiNovember 17, 2015Extremely reasonable Italian food! Do try the roasted eggplant in tomato pesto or meatball sauce. Brunch is a steal with $10 bottomless mimosa as add on.
- LaurenceMarch 27, 2017Excellent concept! Choice your kind of pasta and your sauce and enjoy a plate for 9$!!! Great place but a little bit too noisy
- Martin OngFebruary 10, 2016Good cheap pasta. But portions are small. Pappardelle with wild boar ragu was good!
- AmateurConciergeDecember 16, 2015Great value for pretty good Italian. The Brussels sprouts are great. Skip the eggplant app. The suggested pasta is super heavy!
- StevenOctober 21, 2016The wild boar ragu with papardelle is delicious. If you feel like something creamy, go for the pear and gorgonzola ravioli. Cheap $9 pastas!
- Jessica de OliveiraMay 4, 2016While the food was slightly lack-luster, the cheap prices ($9 create-your-own pasta dishes & $15 Sangria pitchers), dim lights, and Italian waiters made me feel one step closer to Italia.
- Gianna SantelliFebruary 1, 2017Expected serving sizes to be larger but it was so cheap I didn't really mind. $12 (excludes tip)for spaghetti and meatballs🍝 (no booze but nonalcoholic drink). Not bad! And the meatballs were👌
- BeccaMarch 31, 2018I can’t emphasize how amazing the food is, the water is served in a jar instead of a glass and the restaurant is small and industrial like if that makes sense. Very unique place.
- MichaelApril 25, 2019literally my favorite place in manhattan: try the ravioli, fresh pasta, brunch (or pretty much anything). great value for the pasta!
- $9 for your choice of six fresh pastas and eleven sauces. Absolutely delicious and easily the best pasta value in the East Village.
- Jerry WongJuly 1, 2016Great fresh pasta with uncommonly reasonable portion sizes. Be prepared for a wait though.
- I love this place. Great pasta for cheap, and reasonable drink prices. The brussels sprouts taste like McDonalds fries...so they're good if you like that.
- Bolognese is solid even with all the peas in it. Order an app or two since pasta bowls run size schmedium. Drink a lot of $4 beers before you leave
- Jess NaldoAugust 5, 2017Cheap, lazy and inconsistent both in quality of food and service. Had both fun experiences (unlimited sangria probably helps) and once left angry. It's $9 pasta so, I guess I'm not that surprised.
- Eunice KimJanuary 24, 2015The Nero d'avola is nice and woody, and only 6 whoopers! Also the pasta is 9 macaronis~~~!
- Keith McKenzieJanuary 21, 2015Prices are outstanding for delicious fresh pasta dishes. This excellent location might finally be matched with some excellent food.
- Gaby GingolaJuly 22, 2016Try to make a reservation because the wait can be pretty long regardless of what day you come. And get the white sangria pitcher.
- Annie AlfstadMarch 7, 2017Burrata and apps were bangin! Pasta was good, great for the price. Nice vibe!
- Michael Papacz-CapikJuly 22, 2016Great date spot. Delicious pasta! The starters and the deserts are also amazing. All of this for a great price
- Nicole FormicaJune 22, 2015Choose from an amazing array of homemade pastas and sauces. For only $9 a plate, you can't go wrong!
- Josh EagleMarch 5, 2016Wild boar ragu is classic, delicious, and well priced (all entrees are 9-10 dollars). Super down with this joint!
- Matt GierhartDecember 9, 2015Really fresh and great pastas. But the brussels sprouts shouldn't be missed.
- Brunch here is awesome! You need to try it to believe it, food is delicious and drinks are convenient
