The best event ever! Try a Pronto Pup, cheese curds from the Mouth Trap and Luigi Fries. Head to the International Bazaar for some awesome food and shopping.
The fair is neat, but check out the fairgrounds throughout the year. Oktoberfest, comic conventions, roller derby with the North Star Roller Girls, and more fun events!

(:- Nate FolkertAugust 26, 2014itinerary for parents with a toddler: ride the carousel on the kidway, visit the butterfly house, pet baby animals at miracle of birth, buy inflatable pony to stop the whining, head home for nap time
- Try the lobster roll!! Amazing! And the Korean beef at Famous Dave's! And of course you must get a bucket of Sweet Matha's cookies!
Try the cheese on a stick! It's like a corn dog but cheese instead of meat. My fav thing at the fair!

Pork collar from Famous Dave's is excellent. Sweet, tart, little spicy.

Looking for your Uber during the fair? Head toward gate 2 or gate 16 to meet your driver. Look for the signs the read 'App-based Ride Services'.
Midway Mens is hands down the greatest burgers and cheapest beer prices at the fair! Employees are volunteers and proceeds help the youth!

The Sweet Martha's booth off Carnes Ave now has serving windows on the side of the building! More servers = less wait time (hopefully)
