Lived and worked in and around the Village since the 80s and never been before tonight which is my loss. Beautiful, delicious and great service! Inside or out back a great NY experience.

Love the atmosphere—has a very winter vibe; fireplace and dark wood. Can imagine coming back on a cold January night. Chicken pot pie was ok, but drink menu totally missed the mark.

A high-end restaurant offering a unique take on American home cooking. We love how the fireplace adds a cozy and comfortable feel. Go with friends, and be sure to order the Chicken Pot Pie!

Excellent service at this old-school restaurant in the Village. We went there for brunch and enjoyed the raisin-pistachio scones, asparagus & goat-cheese omelette 👌🏻

Great space, with red leather banquettes & wooden floors but beware the distracting cool-factor. Try the tuna tartare ($16) or splurge on the classic Dover sole with hollandaise & string beans ($46). Read more

Ask for the room in the back. Quaint atmosphere. The waitstaff were nice, attentive. Most of their dishes are reasonably priced (for NYC). I had the $125 macaroni & cheese w/white truffles.😱Good wine

Stopped here for brunch. The Waverly is beautiful, absolutely loved the ambiance of both interiors and the garden in the back. On the other side, food is just ok and the service is kinda disappointing

Warm mellow atmosphere, fast service, playlist with decent bass lines. Duck was delicious & so was the wine. Thanks for the recos from the bar. ❤️

The menu is low-key, but just received an infusion of new life from Jeffrey Teller, who joined the restaurant this summer from the M. Wells Steakhouse in Queens. Read more

This place is home. The food is great (get a booth), the decor is perfect (that mural!) and the bar makes a tight martini (kalamata vs green). Classic WV.

Wonderful brunch with great bellinis. Ask to be seated in the back garden when there's good weather. The greenery is delightful and the food delicious.

The garden is amazing and they have fireplaces going when it's cold. The food is average for the price range, but I'd still recommend it if you like ambience.

Phenomenal ambiance and food – you might be enjoying dinner next to a celeb or a fashion editor. We recommend the Braised Rabbit or the Roasted Amish Chicken.

Beautiful spot. Surprisingly reasonably priced food but the wine list has some sticker shock. Celeb sightings galore. I sat next to Keith Richards and Fran Lebowitz.

One of my favorite things about this place is how quiet it is. You'd never guess you were in NYC. Feels like Europe, and the people watching is great.

Graydon Carter, editor of Vanity Fair, officially opened this exclusive spot. Instead, Carter told friends who told other friends. Try to snag a walk-in table once the “house family” has cleared out.
