Dim sum is unreal. Ideal meal is crab and pork soup dumplings, Katz pastrami egg roll, BBQ pork belly, and pan fried spicy pork buns. You'll pay twice the price of Chinatown and it'll be worth it.
Unlike most dim sum places, this spot does its biggest business at night. The Katz's PastramiEgg Rolls are incredible, and the Pac Mac Dumplings are great too - they even put little eyeballs on them!
Peep the 5 seat bar for a free spot before you put your name down, you might just luck into a 0 minute wait. Once there, get the pan-fried pork buns with spicy sauce, they are phenomenal!
Ask for the spicySiracha like sauce on the side for rice and noodle dishes, elevates a safe, but delicious dish into something more exciting. Steak tartlets are fantastic, as are the dim sum options
Orderer off uber eats, ok. Scallion pan was too thick, shrimpcorn and truffle was good. Pork and crab soup dumplings were great. Mango salad was good. Crispy duck and crab was too much going on.
Can’t go wrong with any of the dumplings, porklettuce wraps, or string beans. Duck & gingerfried rice was very bland. While you wait for your table, enjoy a cocktail at Decoy downstairs.
At Ed Schoenfeld and Joe Ng’s lively New Yorkified Chinese spot, Red Farm, crisp-fried lambdumplings are concocted in a wood-beamed urban farm setting. There’s a lot to like about this fresh remix.
Growing up in HK, I like my dim sum traditional, and am suspicious of anything fusion. But the food here was creative and delicious. Wonderful easter family brunch. Definitely coming back!
The pastramiegg rolls were an amazing fusion. The fried rice is on point, although not keen on the addition of corn. Skip the oysters - they are the size of a quarter. Dumplings are deeeeelish.
RedFarm serves modern and innovative Chinese cuisine in a trendy and rustic decor. They only accept reservations for groups of 8 or more, so get there before 7pm if you want to avoid a long wait. Read more
Love love love this place! Tables are tiny and it’s very cozy. Our waiter Steve was very friendly and kind. Service was really good. The food is AMAZING.
The paper-thin wrappers and flavorful broth make the pork and crab soup dumplings more than worth the price. (You may just have to make do with four instead of 20.) Read more
One of the best restaurants in NYC. Delicious food .. Crispy beef, yuzuwasabishrimp, mango&arugula salad, prime rib steak were all amazing! You must also try the key lime pie for dessert

Had a really enjoyable impromptu dinner late on Sunday night. Excellent recommendations for well balanced meal from our friendlywaitress. We were last to leave but didn't feel rushed. Feichung hao!
Wow that pastramiegg roll really is tasty: the mustard sauce was flavorful but not overly so. Steak was perfectly done and the waiter was super nice and paired with a great red wine for me.
Try the rib eye. The luscious beef gets an overnight bath in soy and an expert sear to tease out its umami richness. It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
Great dim sum style food in the West village. Be sure to try the soup dumplings, crispyspicy beef, and Katz pastrami egg roll. And the peach sangria special of the night was bangin
Try everything. In order 1) pastramiegg rolls 2) filet bites 3) crabdumplings 4) soup dumplings. Skip mains and make it tapas style. Oh, and Ruth makes a killer Japanese style old fashion
"Dungeness crab nestles in noodles and egg rolls are busting with Katz’s Delicatessenpastrami. Inspired house cocktails include an oolong teamartini spiked with Assam spices."
Call ahead, get a text 5 minutes before table is ready. Ideal order: pastramiegg rolls, 5-spice chix, kobe tarts, sea bass, baconfried rice. Get the ginger cocktail, avoid the sangria.
Get there early and expect to wait - but it's with it. Get vegfried rice, crabmeatnoodles, mushroom or lobsterdumplings, three chili chicken, chocolate pudding
Our favorites: crab and duck dumplings, dried scallop and Chinese sausagefried rice, and three chili chicken. The place is awesome and the people are great. They are also quite proud of their toilet.
no reservations, and the experience is so much better with more people! Stick with ordering a bunch of small plates, and damn that PastramiEgg Roll is a gift from the heavens!
Most items are amazing but there's one absolute must: GET THE RIBEYE! don't let the price throw u off, it's literally melt worthy deliciousness that beats Peter Luger by 10x! & I never leave food tips
Worth the wait. Everything on the menu is amazing. Spicy Crispy Beef is top fav. White horse tavern and Turks & frogs are close by for before dinner drinks.
check in 75 mins b4 you want to eat, go elsewhere for a drink, then listen to the waitress & order 1-2 things from every section. Stay until after the knicks play & watch Jay-Z and Beyonce walk in :)

Fresh greenmarket sensibility meets modern Chinese, mixed with rustic decor. Chef Joe Ng offers enticing items such as marinated rib steak with steamed baby bok choy and spicy steamed sea bass.
Everything is awesome. 'pac man' dumplings, sautéed pea leaves, soft crunchy fried rice, chicken salad, jumbo shrimp and pumpkin in lobster sauce, crispy beef. Just order the whole menu.
Sceney West Village joint, where dumpling wizard Joe Ng turns out whimsical riffs on the classics. While not to everyone’s taste, the playful Katz’s pastrami egg roll is a novelty worth trying.
