You might wait 2 hours to try any variety of meatballs you can imagine, in any form. The daily specials are always fun, vegetables are fresh and delicious. The homemade ice cream sandwiches are a MUST
My go-to and favorite restaurant in NYC. There can be a wait, but sit at the bar. Wonderful food, great drinks, awesome 90s hip hop & rap playing most of the time. Try the Meatball Smash w/ fried egg
Very nice and cozy place. The rumors are true. Best meatballs in town. I tried spicy pork with tomato sauce and spaghetti under. A classic, tasty option. Ask for the wines, the bartender is always nice
The special thanks giving turkey balls are to die from. The Brussels sprouts are awesome. The chicken balls with mushroom sauce also good. The cream sauce is good but very very heavy.
Veggie meatballs were solid & the kitchen sink salad was more than enough for dinner. Got the special sauce which was onion, beer & mustard. It was good, but would probably do classic tomato next time
Food is excellent, service is great. Attractive men are a plus! Now let's talk about meatballs. They were juicy, soft, and a melt-in-your-mouth kind of experience. I had a blast, enjoyed every bite.

Perfect order: Spicy pork balls with spicy meat sauce and family jewels plus a side of fresh-milled polenta and steamed spinach. You're welcome. #balls
Reasons to love Meatball Shop: 1. The food is always delicious. 2. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. 3. The food is reasonable. 4. There's always something new as a special. 5. There's outlets.
I had the spicy pork meatball eggs benedict toast last weekend for breakfast - been longing for it the whole week - I am finally going back tomorrow morning. Benedict meatballs for the win!
Solid spot to go when you need a place for a group. Recommend picking your own ball and sauce combo over rigatoni. Save room for the ice cream cookie sandwich!
My tip is to go hear. That is pretty much it. Food here is amazing, ask the patrons what's the current popular meatball hero. Also I've been told they make a mean whiskey float here. I have yet.
The specials do not disappoint! Had a "Bees Knees" jello shot to start the night and it was absolutely delicious. The market salad was fresh+crisp and the Merguez balls were perfectly spiced.
Can't go wrong here. Incredible food and drinks and an upbeat, hip atmosphere will keep you coming back again and again. Try the homemade ice cream sandwich!
Go late or early. Spicy Pork balls, classic red sauce. The sangria is good, but a PBR feels right. If there areginger cookies and chocolate ice cream, put them together and thank me later.
Everyone knows they have great meatballs. I like them on a sandwich. The cocktails they have at the bar are surprisingly good and a good deal (on a relative basis)
For vegetarians, try the vegetable meatball or one of the multiple vegetarian sides (roast broccoli was good). At least half of the sauces are vegetarian-friendly as well.
Even the vegetarian balls are good. What can't you do, TMS??? Get the vanilla ice cream float in cream soda... and drink it before your gf punches you for not sharing!!!

Great meatballs, not too in love with the ice cream sandwiches. Ice cream was good but the cookies weren't warm so it wasn't very special in my opinion. Definitely would return!
The meatballs are some of the best in New York. Ask for the buffalo meatballs as an appetizer.. A special menu item that they won't always tell you about
The "Kitchen Sink" is incredible and offers a huge variety without making a lot of decisions. You get a great mix of veggies along with your meatballs. Win-win!!
Best ice cream sandwiches. So light compared to heavier ice creams. Also if you mention it's your birthday they'll throw a candle on it, which made my day!
They have such well executed sides: sautéed Swiss chard with herbs, sautéed kale with raisins (daily greens selections) fluffy polenta. It's awesome that they aren't an afterthought!
They're doing a lot of things right here, far beyond the meatballs. Stick with the Naked Ball selection for dinner and go with a Hero for lunch. The sides are awesome too.
The "Kitchen Sink" salad is always a good idea. It's like Family Meal, if you've ever worked in restaurants, so it's a solid deal while also being healthy and filling.

Great vibes, great balls. Inexpensive for a premium experience. Great date spot or great place to hang with your dude friends as well. Everyone loves meatballs.
