Goodness people that leave these tips do not know SF. SOMA = South of Market, meaning anything South of Market Street, till you hit Mission Bay, the Mission, Potrero Hill or Dog Patch.

A bit too industrial for my tastes but lots of great bars and restaurants.- Instead of walking to SOMA from Market St, Take the N Judah to the end, 4th and King. It's closer to all the action.
