One of the best acoustic venues in London. Great architecture, atmosphere, and sound. The pews can be a bit hard on a bony behind though, so either bring a cushion or sit on some clothing.

The Daylight Music gigs at midday on a Saturday are always great. And free (though leave a donation if you can, to help with the upkeep of the lovely building)

Great venue for live music, book a pew spot first with your coat then retire to bar as people are pretty honest and spot is usually there when you get back.

Surreal music venue. So atmospheric. Sit in the pews up the top for a birdseye view. Some Sundays they do midday shows with delightful home made cakes.

Sitting on the upper balconies at the back, stage centre, gives you an amazing view over this beautiful old chapel. Not many venues today that still use candles to set the mood. (via Scoville) Read more

Great venue for a gig. If you're watching something where you have to sit down for a long time maybe bring a padded jacket to sit on 😊

In actual fact the speakers are a hinderance. When the acts walk away from the microphone the acoustics are much better. Sitting in the upper circle is super echoey

When attending gigs, shows or—plausibly—religious service in the wintertime, be sure to sit inside the circle of the balconies, since that's where the heaters are directed.
