Their vanilla cold brew is tasty, but any of their brewed coffee options can be made iced too. It's a great afternoon treat. Drink it straight up, no need for milk or sugar.

Excellent coffee ! Roasted at Sightglass Coffee. Try the chocolate scone and the organic Apple juice (yummy !). No wifi but cool place to work with your laptop upstairs. Or to meet people

Beautiful space with lots of seating/standing room. Pastries are from local bakeries like b. patisserie and piccino cafe. Piccino's ginger scone is small and expensive at $3.50 but yum.

No. 1 coffee in San Francisco. Excellent flat white (although they call it latte in a smaller cup). Perfect croissants as well. If you are from Melbourne, you will not be disappointed. Expect to queue

Just about my favorite spot for coffee in SF SOMA. Best iced almond milk latte. Wonderful reading spot overlooking the coffee bar. Excellent creamy roast makes delectable soy/almond milk cappuccino

What to Order: All of the pour-over drip coffees are great, but the excellent Guji, Yetatebe is a fresh-crop Ethiopian coffee, so it’s only available for the next few months.

Really big fan of the espresso here. Grab a quick cup for $3.25 if you're in a hurry. If you have a walk ahead of you be wary that the cups can get pretty hot.

Pourovers and espresso drinks here are top notch. Lines move relatively quickly. Best thing about this location might be the spacious working area above the coffee bar. Great, comfortable atmosphere.

No WiFi - yay!! Read a book, talk to the person with you or just sit and enjoy your beverage. Nice to not just see a sea of MacBooks. Prices are absolutely reasonable given quality and expert roasting

Ambiance was so modern, industrial, and had a warehouse feel. Great sunlight and quality coffee - sit on the balcony overlooking the daily grind

Awesome industial decor. Warning: almond milk doesn't blend well in iced coffee so if you're getting the iced vanilla brew, you'll start to see the milk and coffee separate in clumps.

They don't serve tea here. And if you ask, you will be shamed. I think you can order from the coffee bar upstairs if the line is long (tho I haven't tried this top secret tip yet)

Lovely space that always smells amazing because they roast beans all day. For change on a hot day, get a pour-over over ice. Refreshing and delicious.

Sightglass is a little bit out of the way from the downtown area, but the space is giant and full of natural light. They also roast their own beans here in this space.

They’ve got a loyalty program now! 10th coffee is free. If you really want to maximize your value, get 9 quick cups and then go all out on your custom oat milk double Cortado.

These guys know what they're doing. The care in which they roast and prepare the coffee is noticeable upon first sip. I have had a regular drip coffee and a latte and they both blew my mind. 👌

I was a little turned off by only having sweetened cold brew, but, the pour over over ice is a decent substitute. And the space and staff make up for it by far

A SoMa neighborhood gem. A Kiawamururu, Kenya Pour Over worked great for me. Enjoyed the non-uniform seating while watching the roaster in action. Checkout the unique bathroom sink/mirror setup.

Coffee here is amazing. The ambience is pretty unique too, you'll see sacks and sacks of stuff- maybe coffee beans. You won't find a menu at the back of the barista either. Love this place.

Everything you would like to find in a coffee shop of high quality. The only thing that prevents me from going is the lack of an air conditioning system. It is unbearable on sunny days.

Fantastic, high-ceilinged space with the roasting going on right in front of you. Try a hand-poured, single-origin drip coffee or a straight up espresso shot.

Great drinks, great space. But it can be sweltering in the summer — there's no AC, and having a giant on-site roaster means there's a literal furnace in here.

Pour over, black. Truly some tasty coffee, and because it's light roasted and more naturally sweet you really don't need sugar and certainly no creamer to cover up ugly roasted flavors.

Sightglass's beans are slightly darker roasted than Four Barrel's and Blue Bottle's. Not a bad or good thing, per say, but a useful thing to know in case you particularly like or dislike darker roasts
