- ELS Language CentersMay 7, 2012"Portland's Living Room" is located in the heart of downtown and hosts 300+ events throughout the year. Nearby you can find world-class shopping and tasty food carts.
- Nice place for gatherings and meeting up with friends. Later in the night you do see more homeless and ghetto people roaming the area. But overall, still a good place, and near shops!
- What can I say, this place is amazing, always full of energy, I always feel good when I'm here.. I come here to think through problems :)
- The Portland Hotel stood on the site from 1891 to 1951. It had 326 rooms, bars, a restaurant, etc., and faced the courthouse. When it was demolished to make way for a 2-level parking lot.

- The cheese steak cart on the square has the best cheese steaks in town. Worth killing a man for. Grab one, sit on the steps, and watch Portland go by.
