- Martin RigbyMay 17, 2014They had a special: green beans and brussel sprouts which were brilliant. They also do a pastrami spring roll using Katz's pastrami; also brilliant. You just have to get over the gimmick and try it.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Zach HamedMarch 6, 2015New favorite Chinese restaurant. Spring rolls, spicy crispy beef, arugula & mango salad, steamed dumplings, all must-haves. I want to try everything on the menu! Great date spot and good for groups.
- Liz TostiApril 3, 2018The food here is especially delicious. The Katz Pastrami egg rolls is my favorite. Next up are the amazing dumplings which the staff teach you how to eat. Service is 110%.
- John AApril 4, 2015Wow! This place is good! Great Chinese food, farm to table, fun UWS atmosphere. Any dumpling is good, and Thai curry clams & mussels is spicy and tasty. Full bar. Drink: sangria.
- Scott SJanuary 4, 2015Great addition to UWS from WestVil. Musts are pastrami egg rolls, salmon and eggplant bruschetta, pork belly and rice cakes. Hat-tip for the farm to table sourcing.
- New York PostAugust 18, 2014Always busy, always exciting. Maybe the best hot and sour soup in the city. Main-course meat dishes are sublime. Don't miss the impossibly rich, satin-textured skirt steak (lunch only). Read more
- Ernesto GutierrezDecember 24, 2016For a first time visit start with the classics: pastrami egg roll, PAC man dumplings, crab and pork soup dumplings. My only regret is not living nearby from this place.
- EaterNovember 7, 2013The menu features favorites from Hudson Street, plus a few new additions, like a vegetable pancake, shrimp and mango dumplings, and diced raw tuna with noodles.
- My favorite UWS restaurant! Highlights are the delicious dumplings like Pac Man and crispy crab but the unique tuna salad and crunchy beef tartlets are also not to be missed! Focus on the dum sum!
- Alexa ScordatoSeptember 22, 2016Share everything! Great drinks at the bar while you're waiting. Spicy crispy beef is not to be missed. (If you want traditional Chinese, this isn't the place; go up north to Han Dynasty)
- Aubrie AhmadpourJanuary 14, 2020The dumplings are delicious and the presentation is nice- it’s always packed so try to get a seat at the bar (I recommend the Japanese whiskey..yum) there’s also a long community table which is cool.
- Marcela De Pelegrin LopesMarch 20, 2019Everything we tried was good. The vegetable spring roles, the drink that comes on pineapple cup are a must! And the dumplings are really good
- Mark LombardiAugust 25, 2014The Dim Sun menu is fantastic. Try the Crab and Duck dumplings. Make sure you go early or during off hours because it gets rrslly busy otherwise
- Christy MommsenFebruary 8, 2014Get the shiso cucumber. not a cocktail person, but a must do! Highly recommend shrimp stuffed jalapeños if you like spicy & the pork and crab dumplings. it is as good as the village! But bigger.
- Douglas EllimanJuly 21, 2014A cozy and rustic atmosphere with a creative and fun menu! We love how this Asian-fusion restaurant is farm-to-table, and have such a good time eating the pacman dumplings!
- Eric HoMay 28, 2017The scallop and shrimp fried rice was phenomenal. Follow my food journey on Instagram @EricHoRaw
- KellyNovember 3, 2014Outstanding dim sum - dumplings galore and all delish (Pac Man!), pastrami egg roll is out of this world, try everything possible. Great friendly service too, from bearded waiters.
- Rich StevensFebruary 16, 2017Red farm's dumpling game is on point, but you can run up a surprisingly big bill with the Asian tapas format.
- Adam SigelNovember 9, 2014Delicious pastrami egg rolls, dumplings, and shrimp-stuffed chicken. We sat at the communal table and Dan Cortese was at the other end working on a plate of udon.
- DinkyShop SGMarch 23, 2015Great complex flavors, subtle garlic, onion, great marinades and grilled protein accents most dishes. Get sev small plates or appetizers and share. Noodle dishes great..
- Andrea HansenMarch 19, 2016great food, go with a good group and plan on eating family style...you will want to go back and get what you weren't able to the first time.
- Robyn GrierMarch 7, 2015Smoked garlic chicken, crab and duck fried dumplings, and Brussels sprouts with Japanese pumpkin were unique and flavorful. Cocktails were also good. Prices were about 30% too high.
- Lee HoffmanMarch 2, 2019Crispy beef and Katz egg rolls are incredible. The vegetable beef fried rice and vegetable egg rolls are excellent.
- Ryan GallagherJanuary 15, 2018Chinese food with a twist. Get the pastrami egg rolls. Very good food but you are going to spend a few bucks for it.
- m.g.October 12, 2015Awesome meal as always. Bacon fried rice is great, soup dumplings, pac men, fish but afterwards felt like I had eaten MSG - got bad headache.
- Paige CSeptember 11, 2023Love their dumplings so much! Their chicken and noodle dishes are also amazing. A bit pricy, but worth it.
- Serious EatsOctober 9, 2013The uptown location of the fun Chinese-American restaurant with excellent dumplings and other classics.
- The pork and crab soup dumplings are the best thing to eat in all of Manhattan
- Laura BJune 7, 2014Very attentive waiter....refilled my diet coke multiple times - which we thought was very nice until we realized he charged us for every refill.
- Eliza ChangDecember 31, 2013The best soup dumplings I've ever had! Better than Din Tai Fung, and way better than anything in Chinatown. The other dim sum are overpriced.
- It's hard to find something that isn't good, but the spicy crispy beef is incredible. Also get the bacon and egg fried rice.
- Eliane FioletAugust 3, 2022Great dim sum with high quality ingredients and awesome plating. The Gamay red wine was excellent.
- Chip PerroAugust 15, 2015Pork buns are simple and awesome here. If you're adventurous try the jalapeño poppers - they aren't too spicy!
- Trae FMarch 20, 2016Loves the crispy beef and the soup dumplings are incredible. Our server Leo is the best!
- Adam SchuitDecember 2, 2015Soup dumplings 😍. You need to order the ribeye it's unreal. Everything on this menu is awesome!
- Corey MenscherFebruary 1, 2014You have to call when they open at 4:45pm to get a table before 9:30pm on the weekends. You can't just walk in. They claim "no reservations" on the website, but ignore that.
- Adrienne CooperDecember 13, 2019Obi this is a treasured, if expensive house of dim sum. But I'd stick with the unique items and skip the soup dumplings.
- Evan WachtNovember 26, 2013It was delicious. The appetizers were proportionality sized and the entrees were delicious. The lambs were perfectly tender.
- Crispy beef, bbq fried rice and skirt steak are fantastic. Sangria is good. Dumplings very well done.
- Joan HuangJanuary 18, 2015The long life mushroom noodles are a delicious umami bomb. Better than the much touted dumplings, IMO.
- Matthew SpectorOctober 11, 2015Pac-Man dumplings are the standard, but the chicken salad with blueberries and corn is a star dish too.
- Sharon TsaoSeptember 23, 2016The presentation of the food was great, but the fusion was a little confusing. I enjoyed the golden hour? cocktail.
- BenFebruary 16, 2015Soup dumplings and duck, need I say more. This place fills up quickly, so get here early.
- Nicolas JavelaudMarch 31, 2018While the food was good it was also clearly not worth the hefty price tag. Good example of over hyped and over priced restaurant in UWS.
- Got take-out for first time and it was amazing!! There is no delivery, but who cares ? Portions huge and delicious!
- Lamb dumpling shooters, bbq steak fried rice. Great, contemporary Chinese. Haven't found anything we didn't like it.
- Crispy beef and beef fried rice are really great. Also crab dumplings and sangria.
- Nikki SlesinMay 24, 2014Amazing food. Service extremely slow today. Took an hour for food to come out. Kitchen was backed up. Other then that, food was delicious
