Amazing food and such a cozy ambiance. We especially love the tavern all year round for dinner, fire is lit in the fall and winter months, tiny bar downstairs. Love everything on the menu.

Part of a 17th century estate house that is now an Inn, the distinctive charm of the atmosphere perfectly matches the high standards set on the food and service.

Everything on the menu is delicious. service is on point and staff is extremely knowledgable. Downstairs is preferable when with many or a rowdy group and also has a small bar.

If you want to get laid take your lady here on her birthday. Ask for the Reuben cocktail. Lamb chops and scallops are to die for.

Fluke tartare was amazing-topped with fish roe and a bit spicy. The bucatini was just awful. Overlooked and terrible sauce. The fish entrees were also outstanding. Fresh, simple, local ingredients.

Unexpectedly their french fries are phenomenal! Also definitely try the atlantic blowfish tempura appetizer, absolutely delicious! Top off with the s'mores dessert, worth the calories :)

This luxurious antique-filled inn is walking distance from the best shops and restaurants. Its downstairs pub is great for dinner, too.

The meatloaf is awesome. Ina Gartner's favorite and the recipe appears in her "Foolproof" cookbook.

Downstairs pub is old world and cozy. Also less pricey choices are on the pub menu.

Both the lobby and the bar in the basement are great places to step back in time, hang out, and enjoy a cozy cocktail.

If you order the burger, go with blue cheese. Pairs wonderfully with the seasoned burger meat

It's hard to justify a $36 lobster roll, but this is pretty amazing.

Chicken may be boring, but it's worth being dull with the Roast Chicken dish at 1770 House.
