- Stephanie GreenidgeJanuary 16, 2015Chicken teriyaki lunch special had more food than I thought, highly recommend. Beef dumplings were alright. A little pricey but worth it if you go with a group
- Michael LiuOctober 27, 2013Fantastic early morning breakfast specials from 7-10 am each morning. 7.95 sul lang tang or soon du boo (among others), with fried egg and coffee and all the usual appetizers.
- Casey SchoonoverJanuary 20, 2015Have only eaten at the 1st floor buffet. Very similar to what Woorjip has to offer but I thought they had a better variety and more interesting options (Octopus, conch, etc.)
- Excellent special kalbi, kimchi pajun, dol sot bibimbap and kongbiji! I love this place, but avoid the complimentary "ice cream" at the end of the meal.
- Elaine HeFebruary 14, 2014Seafood cassoulet was great with more than enough for two people. I like the shrimp and lobster in it, though a bit too spicy:)
- Clyde Erwin BarrettoNovember 13, 2010Big two floor restaurant that is 24 hours! Real great for late night food after a drunken club session. The lunch specials are hearty and filling. You'll find most of your favorite Korean dishes here.
- A great place for a medium-sized group of people who like to try and share weird stuff. Don't miss the avocado ball appetizer, but focus on ordering lots of different kinds of barbecue.
- BravoJanuary 28, 2010A bustling big Korean restaurant. The best of the bunch with the largest variety of panchoa (salads and pickles that come with every meal). Open 24 hours for night owls like me! -Anita Lo, Top Chef M
- David DiGregorioNovember 4, 2014Eat a lot of 반찬 and potentially catch a live concert behind the now defunct waterfall area.
- Matt YuJuly 27, 2010If you're hungry and like sashimi, the hae dup bap (three types of fish with hot sauce to be mixed with rice) is huge and comes with plenty of veggies.
- Village VoiceApril 19, 2012Kum Gang Sun's Seafood Pancake voted #10 on The Village Voice's 10Best Late Night Eats in New York City:
http://bit.ly/w33HqB - Rachel SheppardJuly 8, 2011Buy 2 BBQ dishes, get a side free! Perfect amount for 2 people. The short rib BBQ was amazing.
- Suzanne EL-MoursiNovember 21, 2012Try the Spicy Octopus In Stone Pot - Freaking spicy but sooooo good!
- I BOctober 14, 2011the heineken here is pretty good, everything else is extremely disappointing. I can't remember ever seeing less appetizing Korean appetizers, and the bi bim bap was a letdown as well.
- Wesley FrugeAugust 25, 2011I am all about the white baby grand piano on top of the fake mountain / indoor water fall. Tacky amazing!
- Crystal ZhengNovember 28, 2011They always have live piano. Quite romantic if you don't mind the BBQ smoke ;)
- SuperjonbotJanuary 10, 2013Not impressed, food was maybe slightly below what I come to expect from main korean restaurants in the area. Good reviews must be from drunk people that are thankful for a 24 hour restaurant.
- Alyssa BereznakOctober 25, 2014Seafood scallion pancake rocks. So does the rotation of music: power ballad > brandy cover > Mariah Carey > ABBA
- Bibimbap is served in hot stone bowl.... really good.
- JudithMarch 24, 2014This place used to be one of the nicest in Koreatown. Unfortunately, the atmosphere has significantly gone downhill and it ruined my dining experience. I won't be returning.
- Michelle HermarkJanuary 23, 2012OM NOM NOM NOM! I'm sorry, I don't have time to write a tip I MUST EAT ALL THE THINGS!
- etta yFebruary 12, 2012I bet there aren't that many other restaurants out there with a fake grotto housing a grand piano.
- Note that they don't have a lunch special on holidays.
- Respect the baby grand on top of the mountain (the one beside the waterfall)!
