- Sasha FilimonovAugust 10, 2013The food is inventive yet still very much edible - the combination of flavours show great consideration. Dedicated allergy menu with all the gluten-free items (and there is so much to choose from).
- Wilson ZhouSeptember 4, 2017GQ: Bruno's power breakfast: eggs benedict with truffle, broccolini, ratatouille, avocado on toast and dukkah. An incredibly diverse range of flavours that really come to life on the plate.
- kiptripOctober 24, 2016Reservations are a MUST here. Food is creative but it works. Portions look small but quite filling, as long as you go for starters as well. Drinks aren't strong but Aubergine cocktail is yum.
- Matt GierhartAugust 8, 2014Some of the best food I've had from a new restaurant in london. Really impressed with the watermelon starter (pictured). The waitstaff is knowledgeable but seem a bit overwhelmed and rushed.
- Arturo BMarch 25, 20177/10 Very busy place that always requires reservation. Elegant and nicely decorated with good food. Highly recommend the lamb if it is still on the menu.
- Est KAugust 31, 2015Faultless. Amazing food - try the compressed watermelon & truffles and salmon starters, followed by duck confit salad and hake for mains. Attentive but not overbearing staff.
- LonBerraJuly 20, 2013Have the chef's surprise - for £35 it was great value. Excellent flavours & left feeling very full. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. There's a pedestrian short cut from King's Cross.
- Nora SelmecziMarch 5, 2017Impressive wine program, even the by the glass selection is noteworthy. Food is very decent with inventive plant-based and seasonal menu items. Let's not mention the service though.
- Cluster FatDecember 2, 2013Yummy wood pigeon with caramelised red cabbage & tea-soaked golden grapes. They serve a variety of quirky savoury & sweet cocktails too.
- Sophia TeohFebruary 1, 2014Sit in the high chairs in the window for great views across the square. And if you get the apple crumble, either share or make sure you're really hungry.
- Keith GreywoodOctober 6, 2013Bar: Trendy decor. Like the spicy corn as a bar snack with a craft beer. Not fussed on the chips or falafel. Interesting cocktail list designed by top mixologist.
- glsdDecember 29, 2016Creating a menu is also an ability. We've had a group dinner here and the menu was not OK. mixture of everything and confusing. But the staff are engaging, kind.Apperitifs (appetizers) are also good.
- Lousie TregellasAugust 17, 2017Casual atmosphere with fine dining feel to the food. Good for friends. Lamb is delicious. Good choice for vegetarians too. Wine list is not good.
- Hannah CadwalladerSeptember 7, 2013Been some mixed reviews but we had a great time. Prawn falafels and Welsh rarebit extraordinary. Flavours clever and exciting. Only the music lets it down. Too much base echoing round the room.
- Nikita DedikApril 22, 2017Vegetarian scotch egg is fabulous! English sparkling is totally worth the money. Chilling outdoors in the sun - priceless!
- Jessie BadalOctober 31, 2015Love Bruno Loubet's sustainable philosophy on food and his vegetable-first menu. The menu is varied, fresh and inventive.
- Gluten FreeMeMay 16, 2017Fab brunch - different, interest options with their own (mildly odd) gluten free bread. Very happy to sub for allergies too 👍🏼❤️
- Laura LFebruary 23, 2014Excellent brunch, highly recommend the potato pancake and Bloody Mary, great Ozone coffee too
- Owen BaileyJuly 19, 2015Delicious brunch, and staff were lovely. Beautiful spot to sit outside on a sunny day.
- Marie SteinthalerMarch 14, 2016Good spot when everywhere else is crowded. Don't let the bouncer turn you away, they usually have space at the bar if the restaurant is full
- The Daily Out - thedailyout.com Food and travel blogAugust 9, 2014Great cocktails. The carrot, Campari and orange one & the green margarita recommended!
- Alexian ChiavegatoAugust 28, 2013This is not the best place in London and the service is not the best either. Location is nice on the terrace and over watching the fountains. Just go for a cocktail.
- LonBerraJanuary 2, 2014Second trip to Grain Store & it was as enjoyable as my first trip. Had the surprise menu which was so much food! Come with an empty stomach!
- Becky JaggerNovember 18, 2015Loved the open kitchen, acoustics we require loud but food was incred: grilled octopus and roasted pork loin, not a fan of the dessert choices though
- Chris R (thechristophe)March 20, 2015Lovely food and wine, caters well for vegetarians, vegans and meat heads alike. Good veggie chilli.
- Mag WalczakApril 15, 2016Portions are small and sounds better than they taste. It's a nice place with great interior and lively service. 2 course meal and wine £35
- Andy ThorntonAugust 15, 2013Inventive food & cocktail list but the veggie-centric menu can be a bit hit-n-miss. The corn tamale w/ pork belly was pretty good, the kimchi dumplings terrible. Interior is odd: Feels like IKEA.
- David ThairAugust 18, 2013Awesome and adventurous menu. But the staff were gruff and cold - in stark contrast to the excellent service in Caravan next door.
- BarChickAugust 20, 2013Want cocktails? There’s the Truffle Martini, Butter & Hay Champagne, Granary Martini (with Mustard Vodka), just to name a few
http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/london/grain-store - Kate WrightSeptember 6, 2013Really nice location and quick service so great for a working lunch. The food was delicious but the portions were small. Better to go for 2 courses.
- Mirren BegbieMay 5, 2014My new favourite eating place for lunch in London. Love the decor and the food. Will definitely be back!
- Wallpaper* MagazineJune 20, 2013The 'savoury' cocktails on the bar menu are a real delight - we recommend the truffle martini. Read more
- Andrew LambJuly 24, 2013Cauliflower in buttermilk with caraway seeds: best and ducks' hearts: best dish I have eaten anywhere for a couple of years!
- Krishna SrinivasanOctober 13, 2013Great location and set up. Good food and cocktails too, but small portions for the price.... Left still feeling hungry.
- Mikko ArevuoMay 14, 2016Great pancakes and bacon. Make sure to ask for an extra helping of maple syrup.
- Chris Belvin-BaileyMarch 10, 2014Nice atmosphere, will appeal to vegetarians and those who like organic and natural food.
- Harry van den BerghApril 25, 2014Nice spot in the new Kings Cross area. Very creative menu! My kind of food!
- YinApril 20, 2016Crazy expensive for small portions. We tried Bruno's Power Breakfast (£15) which name would make you suspect you'd get something substantial. It didn't. Hipster galore, not worth the money.
- The food is always fantastic but the service is hit and miss. Don't expect the same thing every time. One amazing meal was marred by an appallingly bad waiter recently.
- Mike FadunmoyeJune 16, 2013Stay away from the Salted Pistachios. They take portion control too seriously. £4 for maybe 15 nuts. Otherwise it is good and friendly joint.
- Gloria ChiangJune 10, 2013Waitress didn't even look at me because I looked like a student and focused only on my "mother" who had buying power. Good product knowledge nonetheless.
- Vixta LondonApril 15, 2016Don't believe the hype - had dinner there with friends. We all came out hungry after spending £100. Service was not bad, however the food was not great. Decor is cool, but not the best food. 👎🏻
- Ed GeorgeOctober 5, 2014Went for lunch: food/service was fairly lacklustre. Wine matched with dessert did not work at all (convinced it was wrong wine). Expensive for what it was. Rolling the menus was a daft idea.
